Daizenshuu translations online?
Does anyone know where I could find translations of the daizenshuu online? They don't have to be full translations, maybe just translations of the interviews, etc. Thanks!

Oh man... Daizenshuu translations... I dream of those from day to day. If only.
I mean, I can read the ones I own when I have a good dictionary handy, but it gets really tiresome considering I can't yet read Japanese as well as I can English.

BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Daizenshuu is a series of books with all the facts about Dragonball that a serious fan needs to know. It contains powerlevels, character info, ages and so on.The Time Traveller wrote:I don't actually know what a Daizenshuu is.
It is released with permission of Akira Toriyama, who himself provided some information. There were a staff working with it.
That's all I know so far.

I would be all over it if there were a translation of the Daizenshuu. Of course, I've said that already, but OH, it's just absurd that they HAVEN'T been done already, what with our enormous base of fan translators. EVERY fan deserves to read these books, and the stupid language barrier shouldn't have to be a problem!

...Really. Viz is stupid not to. I mean, what, do they think they wouldn't sell?

I would have bought them all. No doubt.SSj Kaboom wrote:Because "they" are stupid.Godo wrote:Just a question: Why won't they release them in english?

Just look: kids nowadays get all kinds of junk just if they ask for it, so even if there wasn't an interest in the Daizenshuu, a kid would see Goku on the cover and say:
"MOOOOOM, DRAGONBAAALL, I WANT IT, B**CH!"
And their parents buy it for them.
Kids nowadays have twenty times as much posessions as I had as a kid.
So there is no problem with selling the Daizenshuu.
Plus add the real fans, and you will sell the double. Everyone knows Dragonball. Even non-fans have the movies or episodes. So the translated Daizenshuu will sell.
Stupid stupid Viz.

Maybe if someone knows a petition site or something that easily can be sent to Viz. Then we have to spead the link thorughout different Dragonball forums that we are members in.aegoku wrote:I think we should let Viz know how much we want these in english. Anyone have any idea how we could do this? Maybe a letter writing campaign?
