There aren't enough others for a preliminary just to get on the team, so no to that. Goku and Vegeta are already training constantly, and we can assume that Vegeta and Piccolo are still training, Tenshinhan usually trains, so that's an immediate yes to half of the members. We know that Boo probably won't, though.

Hadn't thought about it, but now that you mention it...well, I don't want to be a naysayer, but considering DB track record I won't expect more than one token female goddess and maybe a couple of female angels like Vados. Being optimistic.
I'd like to be proven wrong, thou. It would be a missed oportunity if they don't introduce some badass women.

Goku will chose the other 6. Vegeta, Piccolo and Buu will automatically be selected by Beerus due to last time.

Herms made a translation for the updated chart Toei did about the timelines:
They also talk about Future Trunks's responsability:
"It is split into several histories due to Future Trunks coming to Goku's history"
And "Future Omni King who destroy Zamasu along with the entire future universe"

Interesting. They call Trunks's sword a "sword of light".

There is just no way the tournament survival arc will live up to the hype.

The chart does not talk about Trunks being the active one for the split. As you can see on the chart it is time wise not even accurately placed to be a splitting point. Furthermore it would render the later explained split (both on the chart and in the anime) on the chart no split at all. Trunks did play a role in a split that always happened. But it was not his arrival that split up time. They should not have written it like that though because now people will think it was Trunks' arrival and forget the rest of the chart. That is also why we have 7 time rings and not 8. Trunks' arrival always happened and lead to a splitting event but his arrival itself was not the splitting event.

Short: Trunks was essential for the event chain, but he was not the time splitter. Perfectly appropriate for the rest of the chart, the anime and the number of rings.

To be fair it's not entirely their fault, it's our's.
Fandom has huge expectations, no way they can deliver it all.
For starters, I am certain nobody is training with whis, and no explanation will be given either

It is Super so the community needs something to moan at. We could have hidden training that is revealed during the tournament.

The moaning is sometimes justified tho, Super is an average series at best, and we fans have high expectations. With the upcoming arc how will we have sufficient character development or info from this new fighters when we still don't know much obout u6 fighters?

How does one have high expectations for an average series?

I expect there to be a namekian and an earthling on team universe 6 who are as good as Hit but did not turn up last time for some reason. Namekian is evil and could not find earthling as earrh was destroyed.

Allright, now i have to ask something, in Toei's timeline chart it is explained that the main timeline has separated into two, one where Zamasu is dead and other where he's alive. In the timeline where Zamasu was alive is where Black was created and which was splitted once Beerus killed present Zamasu.

What the hell am i seeing people talking about casual loop theories or how it doesn't make sense because it's a casual loop theory? It doesn't look like any of that at all and people are making it seem more complex and i'm getting confused.

Yeah I don't quite understand that too. We're 70+ episodes deep and if you think the show is average yet have high expectations then I don't understand how moaning is justified. I personally think the show is above average with the last arc being really good but my expectations aren't particularly high for this because well the last tournament arc wasn't very good so I'm expecting at the very least:
good world building, good new characters and designs, fun character interactions and some decent fights.
I had very little expectation for the Trunks arc and was blown away so hopefully the same happens here!

The time loop is that Black existed before Goku even met Zamasu and Goku only met Zamasu because he was investigating Black, which only happened because Trunks time traveled to the past. If Trunks never time traveled, Black would have never existed.

Basically:

Black attacks Trunks' time -> Trunks travels to the past to get help -> Black follows him -> Beerus and Whis notices that Black's ki is similar to Zamasu's -> they investigate Black, which leads to Goku fighting Zamasu, him become obsessed with Goku, and learning about the Time Rings -> Zamasu eventually kills Gowasu and take the Time Ring -> He goes one year into the future to get the Super Dragon Balls and take Goku's body -> He goes into Future Trunks' timeline, joins Future Zamasu, and kill the gods -> They eventually attack Earth, leading to Trunks using the Time Machine to get help -> cycle continues

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Re: TL chart
They still didn't explain how Whis is supposed to time travel in order to warn Beerus. The only way I can think of is Trunks calling for Future Whis just like how Bulma does in the RoF arc, and then explaining everything to him.

Goku's/Main's timeline was supposed to be Black timeline but because of Trunk(and Beerus) the timeline split and reorganized in two timeline.

"It is split into several histories due to Future Trunks coming to Goku's history"
Trunks by coming back in the past and warning Beerus and Beerus killing Black split and reorganized the timeline in two, an so Beerus created a time ring.
Black timeline is identical to the Main timeline without Future Trunks coming back to warn about Black and thus without Beerus killing Zamasu.

[*]Trunks travels to the past leading to the following events
[*]Goku meets Zamasu
[*]Pissed Zamasu gets more pissed
[*]Pissed Zamasu kills Gowasu, which is rewinded
[*]Beerus kills Zamasu
=>An unnatural split that is supposed to ensure a Zamasu can survive to become Black happens (re-organizing/manipulating the event chain so it somehow can happen/Beerus is not aware/whatever, not important, important is, he survives on this safety timeline), while on the opposing timeline Zamasu is dead
[*]Zamasu becomes Black and terrorizes Trunks
[*]Trunks travels back and resets the bootstrap

And people who say a bootstrap makes no sense do not understand what "cycle without beginning and end" means. Instead they just want only their alternate timelines. A such inconsistent time concept that it easily consists of so many problems in and on itself.
Black timeline is identical to the Main timeline without Future Trunks coming back to warn about Black and thus without Beerus killing Zamasu.
There is no "Black timeline without Trunks". It is one split and that split happens through Beerus. Trunks always arrived and his arrival always triggers the other events leading to the Beerus split. If Trunks woud be the time splitter the Beerus split would be no time split. And if the Beerus split would be no time split, he would not create a time ring. But he did. The entire point of the saga is to combine multiple concepts and say that everything they did led to what happened.
