Sorry if this has already been said, but are we getting an episode this week? I know they will rest for 1st January but I don't know if there is something that doesn't allow them to make an episode this week.

I really want to see what happens with Hit, even if it's just a filler episode again.

Yep, endings are based on cours, openings are when they feel like it. The new ED will start on episode 73 in January.

Gohan beats the villain but Mr Satan gets all of the credit, yeah sadly this might be the path the episode will head. But I would still be glad Gohan will save the day, when was the last time he saved the day, back in the Cell Saga?

I'm just excited for further elaboration on the great saiyaman. It seems like Gohan is still actively doing it which is great!

Probably. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure only Goku and Vegeta will get special training, and the rest will be fodder. I hope everyone though gets special training and massive improvements...or at least sensible improvements. Still want that Beerus boot camp.

Imagine he's so desperate to win he forces everyone into a training regiment....all the hilarity and results we could get from that....it'd be amazing.

It would make sense as this is between 12 universe so Zeno shpuld give them time to prepare for a tournament that could end up destroying their universes

We just need a Whis training camp which will be great for character interactions.

We most probably will not get one for training as they might give a time skip soon to show goten and trunks all grown

That works too, but they're not involved in the tournament. If anything, it would be for training.

As far as "filler" episodes are concerned, the Garlic Junior arc was exactly 10 episodes. To the best of my knowledge, that hasn't been surpassed in Dragon Ball's animated adaption history. Dragon Ball Super has yet to surpass or tie that record.
