Remind me what episode 64 was about please?Ajay wrote:Favourite: Episode 38 as a whole. Absolutely adored Vegeta vs Hit. It was really well directed, and no other episode has had me on the edge of my seat like that. Close runner-up is probably episode 57's first half. I had a similar reaction to that, too.
Least Favourite: This is a hard one. I want to say episode 33 as it was one of the worst ways to kick off such an anticipated event, but I think from both a production and story point of view, I have to settle on #64. It was ugly, nonsensical, and demonstrated almost all of Toei's boneheaded additions to the story in one episode.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Favorite moment: Goku kicking Zamasu's and Black ass after they tell him they killed his family showing how much he cares about them more especially his Chi-Chi and Goku punching Zamasu without looking at hin. Just awesome.
Least favorite: RoF arc (except Vegeta kicking Freeza's ass and Freeza torturing Gohan) the rest can go to earth's Hell with Freeza where it belongs, I didn't think it was that bad but rewatching it with my dub made me understand how awful it is, with horrible fights mixed with horrible art and animation showing how everyone was sick of retelling movies.

Favorite Moment:Trunks cuts merged zamasu in half with his spirit bomb sword(I'm calling that attack spirit hope slash) the soundtrack and the people of his Future cheering him on was epic, might be the coolest moment for me in the DB-verse in general
Least favorite:The first filler after the F.trunks Arc,most of the slice of life episodes in DBS have been interesting or at least funny but nothing happened at all on the shenron episode,it came out of one of the greatest plot twist in the series and the Dr.slump and baseball episodes were a lot better, that makes that episode seen even worse

My favorite moment is definitely Goku Black's introduction scene in episode 47. It was pure awesomeness. I also loved the Zamasu intro in episode 56. I liked all the 2v2 battles, and I loved Goku Black, after he merged with Zamasu it went down hill fast.
My least favorite is the RoF retelling. That whole fiasco was utter garbage and should have been eliminated from the show. I also didn't care too much for the Copy Vegeta scenes either.

Black's first appearance is obviously the best thing super has done, the RoF retelling is my least favourite part.

Favorite moment: DBS episode #39: Goku w/ SSB KK vs Hit and Vegeta figuring out the Black Rose puzzle in episode #63.
Even though I understand them showing a fake Vegeta for some episodes and then a fake Goku for a whole arc, it reminded me too much of GT, which I don't much care for (other than SS4. I like SS4).

Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
I can't actually remember where the story was at the beginning of this year. So I'll probably guess it's anything post U6 tournament.
Most favourite moment:
Baseball episode. Good slapstick, a lot of my favourite characters at least appeared(Krillin, Yamcha, Piccolo and Gohan, Botamo and Magetta are my favourites thus far from U6) and Yamcha got to save the god damn world through baseball. His put down of Tien is my favourite line of the series thus far.
Honourable mentions:
Future Trunks meeting present timeline 18. That needed to happen. Good work.~
Chiaoutzu stopping Goku from moving briefly using his powers. IT'S THE MOST HE'S DONE IN YEARS.
Zamasu. Just Zamasu in general. First time I felt like a villain had a hint of actual depth. Shame they didn't really explore his character, but everything from his struggling with understanding mortals to his eventual death at the hands of Future Trunks and even him becoming the universe!
Least favourite moment:
Goku's forgetfulness in the Zamasu/Black/Future Trunks arc. Forgetting the senzus, forgetting the pot, forgetting the talisman for the mafuba, forgetting he had the Zeno button, forgetting to kiss his wife for the twenty odd years they've been married...god dammit Goku.
(Dis)Honourable mentions:
The sub plot with Monaka. Using him as motivation for Goku doesn't work because he's un-needed. Goku has Hit, Beerus, Whis and now the Grand Priest to motivate him as people to overcome and if not, he still doesn't want to lose to Vegeta. Monaka is a Mr. Satan again, but more pointless.
Gohan forgetting to ask Future Trunks why he went to the hassle of time travelling to see him. The thought to ask why he was in the present, or what was new with him didn't cross his mind once. Gohan, you're usually a thoughtful person. C'mon.
Copy-Vegeta arc was just poor. Jaco was there, that's about as much worth as I could garner from it though.

Favorite moment: This is a tough one, but I'm going to have to go with episode 56. Everything about this episode was great. We saw how bad the situation really was for the future "civilization" and got to see Black at his best. The ending also delivers a giant plot twist when Zamasu steps down and joins Black. One of the best put together episodes when it comes to story telling and drama in the entirety of Dragon Ball.
Least favorite moment: The Copy Vegeta arc. It was so boring and dumb that it almost made the Garlic Jr. arc look interesting by comparison. At least it wasn't that long. Honorable mention for episode 64 for being a total shitshow.

Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
Goku didn't forgot the pot it was a miscommunication between him and Vegeta, he thought Vegeta was gonna get it out the machine while Vegeta thought Goku was hence why they were squabbling for a few minutes. He also didn't forget the seal, Roshi didn't give it to him. He also didn't forget to kiss his wife he just didn't do it. The only genuine things he forgot about were the beans and the button however I feel like the button was a last resort anyway and even if he did remember about it I doubt he would have used it any sooner then when he did.Akyon wrote:Least favourite moment:

Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
Regarding Roshi; Roshi literally says he's about to go make the seal to Goku. It's not Roshi's fault if Goku Instant Transmission's off the island before it's done. He tells him he's going inside to create the damn seal, and Goku forgets why he's waiting on Kame Island to begin with. You can't blame Roshi for Goku running off, especially when Roshi tells him he needs to make a seal so the Mafuba can be complete. That's totally Goku's fault.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Goku didn't forgot the pot it was a miscommunication between him and Vegeta, he thought Vegeta was gonna get it out the machine while Vegeta thought Goku was hence why they were squabbling for a few minutes. I'll give you the kiss(dumb as it is) and maybe the pot, but since Goku was the one performing the Mafuba, it's pretty obvious he's the one who should be bringing the things to perform it. Vegeta isn't his roadie. Carry your own stuff.

Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
Most favorite moment — Trunks vs. Merged Zamasu (Episode #66)
I'm having a hard time choosing one, but after a while of thinking I decided that this one really takes the cake. I still don't like how the Genki-Dama thing just came out of nowhere, but boy just about everything in it is just amazing. With the moment opening with an awesome shot of Trunks in transparent form blocking Zamasu's sword, all the way to Trunks with his speech and slicing Zamasu in half.
Shin-ichiro Miki's performance was godly in the entire moment (and in the episode as a whole.) The “The past? The future?" part gives me chills every time I watch it. Not to mention that amazing music used in the scene and the "Birth of a new god" at the end. Another thing I also really like in this moment is how batshit insane Merged Zamasu has gone at this point. If this was the actual way how the main villain was defeated, this one would be my #2 most favorite in the entire franchise, just right behind Pure Boo's defeat.
Least favorite moment — Black creating clones of him and Future Zamasu taking a gazillion year to reach Capsule Corp. (Episode #64)
Was having a hard time picking between this and some parts in episode #67, but I have to settle with this one. It was all around just bad padding just so Black and Zamasu can fuse at the end of the episode.
For starters, Mai spotted Zamasu coming with her binoculars, which would imply that Zamasu shouldn't be that far to them. Yet Zamasu takes a very long time to reach the building that Mai, Trunks, and Bulma had a full conversation in the building. At this point in the series, Zamasu should be way more than fast enough to reach Capsule Corp in a second, yet it took him like 5 minutes to reach building. Zamasu is even slower than regular cars?
Likewise, the whole thing with Black clones were just bad padding all around. I initially thought Black creating the scythe and tearing the dimension was very cool, until the clones started popping up. The bad animation surely didn't help either The entire thing would've been better if Black gets the upper hand against Vegeta through his scythe power-up, then Goku aids Vegeta and both of them overwhelms Black.
If it wasn't for Black's and Zamasu's fusion, Trunks' Mafuba, and the good cut a the beginning of the episode, this one would probably be my least favorite episode in Super.
