New MP3 Commercial's Reference to Fusion Technique?
I couple days ago, I spotted an MP3/general portable entertainment system commercial (I forget the name, but it starts with a 'z'). Anyways, when the focus jumps between the screens of the different media players, one of the screens shows two chibi animals (for those in the know about Bleach, they look kinda like Rukia's crappy drawings in her demonstrations) doing what looks like the fusion technique!
I'd chalk it up as being a coincidence, but the two animals went through the exact poses as the complete fusion dance in the series.
So, do you guys think this is an actual reference to the series, or is there something else that the commercial's little clip could be referencing? (Sorry, but I can't find the video of it, since I wouldn't even know what key words to search under.) EDIT: Apparently, "dragonball fusion commercial" was specific enough for YouTube, since I was able to find the uploaded video there.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

I saw the commercial a while ago. They're selling something totally unrelated to Dragonball. But I really wanted to see what what recording artist had fusing animated bears in one of their videos. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful.
Bill Gates probably knows nothing about where the bear fotage is refering to (Microsoft makes the Zune portable music player). The song played is a remix of MIMS song "This is why I'm Hot", called "This Is Why I Rock" featuring Purple Popcorn

Thanks for pointing this out. I'll do a quick little update about it
. I actually haven't seen it on TV yet, myself... then again, the only time I would potentially even be watching TV to see it would be during endless Futurama repeats
.

Well, I asked in the comments section of the video on YouTube if anyone knew where the bears fusing clip originated from, and the person who updated th video said that "it's from a microsoft special edition ad (for the internet only). You will find it if you type "zune arts hearts" into the search bar at the top of this page and it is the 1st result you get."
I'm guessing this is what they're referring to.

Uh, no. The proper dance has them touching index fingers at the end. The fusion would fail if they closed their index fingers.Magic Saiya-jin wrote:If the fusion technique worked, they would have been a fat bear. When they extend their arms outward and pick up their leg they continue pointing out their index fingers (they should use fists).

<Xyex> Good point.

Uh, yes. You are mistaking my point, if you look at the screenshot on the "Daizex Homepage" that is what i am talking about...that position.Xyex wrote:Uh, no. Wow. What a weird commercial. First of all, how does any of that relate to a zune. And second, why the fusion? It's definitely the fusion technique. Maybe the Metamarize were actually tiny bears who knew how to party.DaemonCorps wrote:I'm guessing this is what they're referring to.
