I still like the ending of the Boo Arc despite Satan randomly being able to communicate with the people on Earth which doesn't make sense, same applies here.Dbzfan94 wrote:That whole sequence is actually one of my least favorite moments in the whole series just by how little sense it made.
Despite my annoyance of the deus-ex-machina Genki-dama sword (as said in my previous post,) it doesn't take away the excellent voice acting, music, and some other things the scene composed of.

My favourite moment:
The scenes from the moment Goku decided to fuse with Vegeta using the Potaras, the reactions up until Vegetto appeared and transformed into 'Vegetto Blue'
My least favourite moment:
Hard to tell, maybe the Potaufeu Arc...

Hit in the last Episode
Goku Blacks first appearance
and Goku vs Hit in Episode 40
Least Favorite: Definitely Piccolo giving up because Vegeta said so in Episode 34 (or was it 35?)

Most favourite moment: when Zamasu became one with the Universe. I would have never imagined that would be the ending of the Future Trunks' Arc. Even if Zamasu was disintegrated, he atleast died on his own terms, by bringing every mortals down with him. Besides, it was very sick to see him become one with Earth and destroy everything on that planet. I wonder what would have happened had Zeno not shown up...
Least favourite moment: Goku overpowering Merged Zamasu. That moment made no sense at all. Black alone easily crushed Goku, yet how could Goku defeat on his own a fusion between Black and Future Zamasu? That's just bullshit and it doesn't take a genius to see that.

How does that not make sense? King Kai was using his telecommunication power.Khin wrote:I still like the ending of the Boo Arc despite Satan randomly being able to communicate with the people on Earth which doesn't make sense, same applies here.Dbzfan94 wrote:That whole sequence is actually one of my least favorite moments in the whole series just by how little sense it made.

Sure that scene in Super looked nice and sounded nice. But the Spirit Bomb was such a bad Deux Ex Machina (and a ripoff of GT and Movie 7 put together) completely destroyed the scene for me beyond redemption
Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
Best: The baseball episode. It was great.
The worst: The horrible ending to the Zamasu arc. Good lord Trunks hands and entire coat must be shit brown with how far those arms went right up his asshole to pull that shit out.

Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
Favourite: It'll probably have to be the Genkidama Sword. While it was basically the series taking a massive genre shift into...basically every other over-the-top anime ever, it was really awesome and honestly kind of inspiring. Trunks deciding he'd no longer run away from his problems, and everyone's hope and belief in him turning into the literal power he uses to slice Zamasu in half. Yeah, sure, he didn't actually defeat him in the end, but he took the final push against the arc villain, and that's almost never done by a side character like him.
Least Favourite: By pure 'how upset it made me', it'd probably have to be Episode 52. In particular, the part where Piccolo says "don't bother asking Gohan for help, because he doesn't fight anymore". On it's own, it's not a bad idea at all. But as a follow-up to what Super was doing in Resurrection 'F' and the Universe 6 tournament, it felt like a complete 180 for Gohan's character, and seemed to attempt to close his character so successfully that people everywhere were saying we're never going to see him fight ever again. Not to mention it's become especially worthless now he actually IS fighting again.

I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

Re: what was your most favorite and least favorite moment of dragon Ball super this year
Favorite moment : Son Gokuu backhanding Zamasu in episode #61 and all of episode #66. Hatano Morio directed and boarded #66 and it was good. Shida Naotoshi's cut was the best part without any doubt. Trunks killing Zamasu was a nice conclusion.
Least favorite moment : I dislike a lot of things in Super like the Copy Vegeta stuff, the garbage F retelling and some of the unnecessary padding in the Black arc, but it has been mentioned.
So, I'll go with eps #33-#36 in the Universe 6 tournament. They suck hard. It bored me to no end. The animation and direction was not engaging even remotely, wasted storyboards, Piccolo quitting for Vegeta was nonsense, Frost turned out to be a crap character. All in all, a total failure in terms of both script and production.

Most favourite part was when Gohan came to see Future Trunks leaving (where Gohan had no idea why Trunks was crying). Second to that comes this, [spoiler]

Favorite part: Almost every scene that Black had, from the moment he belittles Trunks, close finger point neck disgrace to Vegeta to his sadistic side on telling Goku how he took his alternate self's body and killed his family with that body (this was dark, I didnt expect DB to take this turn)
Least Favorite: All of Trunks' moment, especially his bullshit powerups from the time when he instantly got dual aura's and went God mode in no fckng time thats convinient to him especially that ending, the bullshit that went through that, spirit sword his fckin ass

Re: What Was Your Most & Least Favorite Moment of Dragon Ball Super This Year?
Favorite: New characters who I find interesting: Hit, Cabba, and the various incarnations of Zamasu.
Least Favorite: Character development in the series. While the characters can come across as engaging regardless if their bad or good, I feel like Super has a done a poor job in making them feel more 3D. Like they either just feel like generic good guys and bad guys. Nothing more nothing less.
My point being Zamasu. I liked him and he seemed unique. Unfortunately his character evolved into the typical bad guy role we have seen multiple times before.

Re: What Was Your Most & Least Favorite Moment of Dragon Ball Super This Year?
Favorite: "SON GOKUUUUUUUYEEAHHH" or however you'd phonetically spell that out. Was an awesome oh shit moment and the turning point in the arc where you finally felt that Zamasu wasn't toying with our cast anymore.
2nd favorite: Can't not mention that baseball episode. I normally hate the comedy in Super but this ep was golden. Personal favorite moment of this ep was the utter confusion from Goku and Vegeta after Vegeta hits Yamcha and they both say "You're NOT supposed to hit them?" I lost it.
Least fave: Pretty much the whole tournament arc. Botamo was the lamest. Frost beating Goku was a nice twist but his poison was lame and a god-level fighter getting poisoned will never make sense. Him beating Piccolo the same way also lame. Cabba fight was ok but super-lame he'd never even heard of a SSJ then all of the sudden he is one. Would've rather seen a diff transformation. Magetta was alright kind of interesting. The Hit fight was the only thing that redeemed this, and now I have an issue with him being OP. If he decides to help our cast at any time he could literally time-skip with Goku/Vegeta/Gohan and hit any enemy with a killing blow, kamehameha, final flash, mansenko before an enemy could move. Cool power at first but I wish they'd of capped it at 1/10 of a second or something.

Except it made perfect sense in the Buu arc as Satan could communicate with earthlings through Kaio's powers lolKhin wrote:I still like the ending of the Boo Arc despite Satan randomly being able to communicate with the people on Earth which doesn't make sense, same applies here.Dbzfan94 wrote:That whole sequence is actually one of my least favorite moments in the whole series just by how little sense it made.

Favorite:
+ Goku's Kaioken Blue scene against Hit in the tournament
+ Vegeta teaching Cabba
+ The BASEBALL episode
+ Goku's rage moment in 61
+ Vegeta Blue beating Black Rosé
+ Vegetto Blue VS Zamasu
+ Goku Black in general
+ Champa in general
Least Favorite:
- Copy Vegeta
- The Freeza fight
- The moment where Piccolo had to step down for Vegeta to have a turn
- Every time Goku acted more like Luffy than himself
- Trunks' constant asspulling (....though on the OTHER hand, was very cool and it was good to see someone other than Goku and Gohan get the kill for once. I do wish there was more build up though)

I stand corrected. Frankly, I never watched the Boo Arc except the one I grew up with (Filipino dub) and if my memory serves me right, they cut the entire part out and skipped straight to Vegeta asking the Earthlings. Either way, my point still stands.PsionicWarrior wrote:Except it made perfect sense in the Buu arc as Satan could communicate with earthlings through Kaio's powers lol
Anyway, I forgot to add one of my least favorite moment — Goku's Kamehameha clash against Merged Zamasu, there's just something about that scene that I really dislike. Maybe because the scene overshadowed the cool father-son Gyarik-ho, or the fact that Goku alone overpowered Merged Zamasu without even using Kaio-ken. I don't even get why they didn't just have Goku use Kaio-ken in the clash instead of having him do it after. Would be a very cool callback to Vegeta and Goku's Kamehameha-Gyarik-ho clash in the Saiyan Arc.

Re: What Was Your Most & Least Favorite Moment of Dragon Ball Super This Year?
I can't believe I just realised that the Resurrection F ended this year but the bulk of what I hated about that arc was in 2015. I'm kinda conflicted about whether I should change my opinion and just collectively say the Resurrection F arc.
