Why is that?
Episode 42 not episode 40 and I like the madness of 42 and 70. In episode 68 and 69 they are trying to be funny on purpose which I don't really like whereas in episodes 42 and 70 they are actually doing something exciting and consequently the comedy comes more naturally and is not forced.

I don't like Great Saiyaman so these two episodes sounds really bored to me :| I like more the fillers where everyone is involved not not just focus in one character..

Herms translated the preview for 74.

More characters usually mean better and more comedic moments throughout the entire episode.

I think the same. The way he gained his power in Cell Games training with his father was more logic than having that kind of ritual from the old kai without have trained. Even surpass Goku and Vegeta when both had been training for many years..

Exactly.. Until now the best filler episodes (for me) are Monaka vs Goku and the Baseball match...

Is this the Baby plot from GT?

....Don't fuc this up Super, Great Saiyaman and Pan/Videl scenes are the only good part of Gohan for me!
Also, who wants to bet there will be an outcry of 'Baby Ripoff!'?

Toei sure does love parasites who make people evil as a plot line don't they.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I wonder if TOEI are trying to sneakily insert plot elements from GT to have a chance at doing them better... Okay, I'm reaching there; I just want hope that the Shadow Dragon Arc idea will come around again.

If Super was a better show I'd say go for it but I can't see it not fucking up the Shadow Dragon concepts.

It's probably more a reference to the original Beerus concept with anything.

I understand not liking that he got an admittedly understandable power up, but I don't think this coolness felt forced. I mean "fight you, no I'm going to kill you" makes sense for his character. He's more interested in getting the job done then fighting like Goku or Vegeta. His "you should have absorbed me if you wanted to be the strongest" also makes sense because he was the strongest z fighter at the time. None of his lines felt forced at all. I understand why the constant smiling might have felt a little forced though.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

It's more accurate to say it's untranslated rather than it being a proper title. Is it really an issue though? In what context would one discuss Goku Black and Future Trunks while confusing which "SSR" acronym the writer is referencing? Both transformations are unique to one character so far. Supposing it's a future issue, there's no harm in "SSA". :D

I disliked it because Gohan shouldve straight for the kill instead of fucking around, in the Cell Saga there was some logic as payback for the Cell Jr hurting the Z fighters, and Cell killing 16 which made him snap.(Father, He deserves to suffer more was kinda badass and funny at the same time).

But anyways, Gohan gets his mini Arc and looks like he will save the day vs a guy that seems to be a Baby ripoff(ironic because he easily got possessed in GT).

He hardly fucked around. He literally got off one combo in the span of a moment...and that was it...Boo then blows himself up and that's that. He fucked around faaaaar more back then. Not to mention he was told Boo killed EVERYONE. That's far more reasonable than Cell Jr's hurting everyone. Boo is also much harder to kill than Cell is. You could say he shoulda fought instead of Gotenks, but really that falls on Kaioshin. He KNEW about the absorption ability, and told NO ONE for some reason. If Gohan knew about it sooner, he and Piccolo would have caught on to Boo's plan.

Fuck Cell! Gohan's true rival and worst enemy....BARRY KARN!. This gonna obviously be bigger than Cell. Then I want Fukkatsu no B with Barry Karn coming back!.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Saiyaman mini arc really reads like it's borrowing from the original BOG script. I'm ok with that. Gohan's not high on my favorites list, but I do like his Great Saiyaman shtick a lot.

I guess it's good to do a mini arc to kinda reintroduce Gohan since he'll be part of the main cast again next arc.
On hiatus.

She'll beat her first villain before she can say more than one word at a time.

It's very rare for a Gohan filler episode to intrigue me but this has accomplished it.

I think this is also the first time that a Dragon Ball character has been given a forename and surname.
