The fate of the Gods and fighters of the losing teams?

Post by shadd21 » Thu Dec 29, 2016 10:41 pm

We know that the losing teams in the tournament will have their home universe destroyed, but will happen to the fighters, Kais, Gods of destruction and angels present at the tournament?

When a Universe is destroyed, there won't be a purpose for the Kaioshin and the God of Destruction. Therefore everything will be destroyed from that Universe.

Somewhere it was stated that angels disappear when a God of Destruction is killed and reappears when another is appointed.

They will be stripped from godhood, angry at this it's nearly certain some teams will be completely destroyed on the spot..
It's gonna be a complete shitshow, of the good kind

Either they'll get destroyed too or if Zeno's at least a little lenient they'll go to another universe.

That "somewhere" is Kaioshin's dialogue in Dragon Ball Super Episode 063. They "deactivate" rather than disappear. Well, we never visually witness this but the phrasing cues that they aren't phasing away into nothingness. They strictly "cease to function" without their Hakaishin. It almost sounds robotic.

I can totally picture a god of destruction asking scared where will we go now, and zeno says "hmmm, you are right, I should destroy you too"
And every god shits their pants

That would be good but it would be even better if they actually try to rebel against Zeno and get obliterated.
