Pretty nice podcast. Does this mean though if Mike gets more powerful, he'll become Vegeto E to the Arbok? (Sorry had to say it)

Is it sad that it took me a while to realize that was Arboc, not Bardock? Then that it was Pokemon's Arboc and not PS's? o.o.

Meh, I tend to think everything can improve greatly... but the "sell sell sell" attitude of 21st century DBZ games so far has me looking at Sparking! Meteor as though "It could be awesome, but I'm not holding my breath... but I'll watch anyway".

Of course, Spike can at least finish a game in a year. Whereas I'm lucky to get a demo of a crappy one in the same time... But I guess that's because I'm a loser kid that thinks he can program. ^^

I totally didn't understand the Easteregg (Because... I like calling them those. Bleh) at the end of the episode, but was nonetheless entertained. ^^. The good work keeps on ... keeping on? ... Yeah, great podcast.

A nice video game podcast this week, apparently. The way you've described the story modes in the Budoukai and the Sparking games, it's almost like living in the movie Groundhog Day without Andie McDowell to make it appealing. It's the same exact story in every game, but with each iteration comes new graphics and controls and such. I understand your hesitation of being overly excited about Sparking Meteor, and hopefully this time people won't get burned. Maybe it's a longshot, but perhaps a new Super DBZ might be released before the end of the year?

Broly's dramatic change in appearance in Movie 11 definitely kills all other drastic changes - even Krillin's. Movie 11 Broly would be awfully hard to cosplay, I guess. Speaking of cosplay, there was this really good Broly cosplayer at Animazement this past weekend. Stilts and muscle suit and everything.

Oh, and I hope you all enjoyed the YouTube clips I put up a couple days ago. I figured at least Meri will get a kick out of it.

I'm excited for the next few manga reviews. My favorite Dragon Ball saga's a-comin'! The Red Ribbon! And if you play the Akai Ribbon BGM at the end of the next episode, I'll love you forever, DaizEX: The Podcast.

i tottaly aggre with SSJmole and Dogasu.

i agree w/ them for 2 reasons ONLY. :D

1) Dogasu's ideas is really gd and sounds like loads of friendship (sorry how i put the word friendship there) fun, as long as i includes the storymode as well.

2) SSJmole reply because I'm the same as he is. I hav in total 13 ps2 games and 9 of them are DBZ (inc. PS1).

Hey everyone, great podcast...

I just wanted to say... Yey, you used my email!!! and Thanks for clearing that up for me, I was always so cunfused about how they got Nimbus as a name...

Anyways... I am looking at BT3 the same as BT2, the same as BT. I dont think that I will buy it until it comes WAY down in price. I didnt buy BT until it was $25, and I still dont own BT2 (because it is still like $40)

I would be interrested to see a DBZ game on the xbox 360 or the PS3, only because I would be curious about what they could do with a "next gen" console.

Also, A side note for the podcast...

You huys should include bloopers/outtakes at the end of the episodes (like you do sometimes) or have an episode for the funniest outtakes... That would be awesome, anyone agree?

Oh yeah, one more thing...

I thought that I was the only wierd-o that liked Videl better with the long hair (everyone I know thinks the short hair is better), so it is nice to hear that I am not the only one who thinks that

Keep up the good work!!!

I wish I kept them  Every time a new one comes out i trade in the previous one. I bought the psone games twice (import from Japan and the uk ones) , I bought Budokai twice (uk and usa on gambeube) Budokai 2 twice (uk and japanese) Budokai 3 twice (uk and uk special edition) and Budokai Tenkaichi once and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 once (wii)

I only have my Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on wii left

I'm finally caught up on the podcasts.

I'm actually of the same opinion as Meri when it comes to the new characters. I didn't care about Nail, King Cold or King Vegeta being in the game when people were speculating about them for the first two games and I could care less about them being in the game now. The only characters I specifically want in the game are the extra characters from the Japanese Wii version and Dr.Wheelo. Anything else will just be scraping the bottom of the barrel and using characters that didn't do much or anything. I will laugh myself to death if characters like Babidi or Elder Moori ever become playable.

I'll get it but I'm actually not as hyped about it as I was for the first two.

I've been thinking, and the thing about a Mario Party-esque DBZ game is that it probably wouldn't sell in the U.S. A game like that would be too light-hearted for the "Dragon Ball Z is WWE TO THE EXTREME!!!!!!" people, and they wouldn't want to be seen playing such a "gay" game.

Sad, but true.

I dunno. One Piece Pirates' Carnival managed to make its way over to the US, even though the anime wasn't very popular over here & the game was a Mario Party clone.

Just saying that anything's possible. (BTW, Dogasu, I dig your site!)

Exactly. Dragon Ball Z is a lot more popular and seems to have a lot more of the frat guy audience than One Piece does.

Also, thanks for the compliment.
