What are you expecting from this new arc?

So yeah, What are your expectations on this upcoming "Universal Survival" Arc?


I'm expecting to see Baby Bulla/Bra. for example xd

[Ki Breaker]

Gohan getting some shine, it's been way too long, and Roshi being a badass once again

[Grimlock]

- Pan a little bit taller.
- Bra's finally appearance.
- Goten, Trunks and Marron taller.
- All the participants being useful.
- No more asspull transformations (mainly the ones that don't get an explanation and that we need Dragon Balll Heroes to come up with something for it not to be a completely void).
- If Universes will be destroyed, I want to see it clearly, from the Multiverse and in details.
- More character development for Zeno but less childish.
- All aspects you can think of for Daishinkan.
- Not to be the last saga.

[Saikyo no Senshi]

These are my expectations :-

- Lots of fights.

- Lots of complaints by fans cause it'll be the Gokuu Vegeta show.

- No twists and just a boring tournament in a boring location.

- One good Shida cut.

- One good Tate episode.

- No Hatano Morio.

- Great acting by the cast as usual.

- Terrible music and SFX as usual.

- Good interactions and funny gags.

- Overall, a below average arc just like Universe 6.

[Merged Zamasu]

Present Zamasu making a cameo in Hell. Beerus didn't erase him from existence, he simply killed him, as such Present Zamasu is very likely to be found in Hell, together with Frieza, Cell and all other villains. It would be interesting to see an entire episode just about Zamasu and his interactions with the other villains. It's also about time Cell makes his own cameo.

-No one except for Goku and Vegeta getting used to their fullest extent.
-Most of them getting at least one decent fight that lasts for an entire episode or longer.
-No background on 17 barring a single line for where he's been.
-18 being thrown into the background once more since only males can dominate.
-Gohan being a disappointment again for doing worse than most other characters.
-People complaining about Yamcha, Trunks and Goten not being used when only the first two are actually decent characters.
-There being no stakes since we already know they survive the tournament thanks to EOZ.

Between 70% and 90% through I expect Goku to drop off quite a lot with Vegeta and Piccolo taking bigger roles.

The last 10% I expect Goku to dominate and bring the title to Universe 7.

Please tell me what you don't think will happen from here. This is me going off what we've seen in the past from this show. You remember the Universe 6 tournament arc poster with Piccolo and Boo slapped on there and how everyone was thinking they would have big roles? They're going to disappoint again, most likely.

Its like everybody here suddenly forgot that they just made Future Trunks look better than Vegeta and Goku, a couple of episodes ago. And Mai saved everybody's life like 2 two times in the last arc.

The fanbase does get a little forgetful at times, the future trunks arc only managed to pull this off by giving bullshit Powerup to trunks, and ending it in a very unsatisfying and unexplained way which leaves a bad taste in mouths..

Imagine if krillin out if nowhere got buff like roshi, made a spirit bomb kienzan then managed to absorb it, get a halo and defeats the big bad and every character turns a blind eye to how he managed to pull this shit..
Would rather not have such things in in this arc..

No, he hasn't absorbed a spirit bomb kienzan, much less make one himself..what he did do was take Goku's spirit bomb energy and shape it into a ball..

I agree with this.

But its like did people just forget they made Future Trunks look better than both Vegeta and Goku combined and "kill" the main villain of the arc, like 7 episodes ago? Which already disapproves that they can't make old characters look better than Goku and Vegeta.

Also that Mai and Yajirobe saved Goku,Trunks and Vegeta from Black and Zamasu. Mai also saved them again.
