Transformation grains/multipliers becoming smaller

I've always had a theory (and probably you guys too) that the stronger your base is, the less effective or less gains you get from a transformation.

Like Goku's base might be so high that his SSJ3 could have a multiplier of 100x

No, the multipliers most likely haven't changed. I think they're still the same.

I don't really buy this theory. Not only is nothing ever mentioned about it, but with Beerus stating that regular Goku is still less powerful than Freeza, that would leave make numbers extremely difficult to work if the form gave out gradually less power.

This is basically dumping the power tapped on during transformation to base..
That would make training your base really ineffective make your transformation less powerful, only benefit if this could be not worrying about stamina issues..

It isn't hinted at either, that's the reason training base actually works, you get much more power out of your transformations

I think it's the opposite. They can increase if you master the form, the mastered Super Saiyan and manga!Trunks' SS2 being examples.

I have to say that I DO agree with this theory. Specially with what the Buu saga seems to suggest that the base saiyans were much stronger than what we think, (the kilis, Piccolo being weaker than them, Base Gotenks being supposedly stronger than what we think).

The SSJ2 and SSJ3 multipliers can stay the same. X2 and X4. But the SSJ, I will never think it's X50 at this point in the series. That was only when first transforming, like how Goku did against Frieza. After new transformations and so much training, the gap between the base and the SSJ can get smaller. Also, Goku could've been suppressed against Beerus, that's why he might thought Goku was weaker than Frieza in base. I'd personally have the SSJ multiplier a X2.5.

I'll have to believe in this theory. It makes sense with the Buu saga, and can solve all the doubts people had, like Base Gotenks, Piccolo and the Base Saiyans.
I'd even dare to say that SSJ3 is now a X20 base. (X2.5 my personal multiplier, then X2 for the SSJ2, and finally a X4 for SSJ3)
