Vegeta will lose to gohan on equal stats ?????DanielSSJ wrote:- The two are dead even in hand to hand, though Piccolo might have a slight advantage in that he has a particularly lethal attack (i.e Makankosappo), but it could go either way. I'll go with Piccolo because he's cooler.DSB wrote:EQUAL STATS MATCHUPS :

Nail vs Captain Ginyu [Nail cant regenerate , Ginyu cant change bodies]
Cell Games versions: SSj Vegeta vs SSj Gohan [Gohan cant go SSj2]
Normal Stats :
SSj Vegeta and SSj Goku [both at the level when they faced Android 19 , Goku with no Heart Virus] vs Future #17 , #18 [Trunks' Timeline]
- The Saiyan and Freeza arcs make it pretty clear that while Space-Thug types like the Saiyans and Freeza's soldiers typically have an advantage over the Earthlings in raw power, the Earthlings are superior when it comes to the spiritual side of things. The Namekians aren't lacking in spiritual training, and Nail is a prodigy among their race. Without his power advantage, Captain Ginyu easily succumbs to the Namekian Warrior.
- Gohan has better stamina, but that's about it. Vegeta is vastly more experienced and lacks the same hesitation that Gohan would possess. When set on equal terms, Vegeta would lose handily.
- To me, the future Androids are roughly as strong as Goku and Vegeta. However they still possess superior stamina and would have much better teamwork skills than the Saiyans. Unless if Goku and Vegeta can pull their shit together, the Androids will sweep them.

Typo. Meant to say that Vegeta would win handily.DSB wrote:Vegeta will lose to gohan on equal stats ?????
Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
* It'd be kind of like Pre-RoSaT Android arc Gohan vs. Boo arc Gohan. Sure, it isn't implied that Videl gained any considerable amount of power, but I'd assume that she gained enough to be able to defeat her past self with relative ease.Ki Breaker wrote:* Current videl vs Videl when she was first introduced ( with no ki control )
* Grade 3 trunks vs androids
* Whis vs Vados
Whis did disagree with Vados being stronger than him, so she shouldn't be assumed stronger
* Pure skill battle with equal powers
Tien vs Piccolo
* What? Grade 3 Trunks was physically stronger than Super Vegeta. I don't think the speed loss would be that bad. Otherwise Trunks would certainly have noticed the impracticality of the form. Besides, it was implied that regular SS Vegeta would be able to defeat Semi-Perfect Cell. Trunks was pretty close to Vegeta and would be able to defeat the Androids pretty easily.
* See, we really have no concrete evidence for either side. I've noticed though, for no apparent reason the YouTube community seems to think that Whis would be stronger. I think otherwise. When is the last time the younger sibling was stronger in Dragon Ball? Raditz started stronger, Cooler started stronger, and Vegeta is a lot stronger than Tarble. Also, Vados has been established to have been stronger than Whis at a certain point in time. And since we know nothing about Whis' training, it's reasonable to assume the status quo hasn't changed.
* Both of them have incredible techniques but to be really frank, I'd have to go with Piccolo on this one.
EDIT: Scratch that, Tenshinhan has the Kikoho.

So, I put Vados > Whis
Vados Sama!
Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Yup, there's that too. And what's to say Vados hasn't been training too? For all we know she could've widened the gap between herself and Whis.Smilodon wrote: But when Whis disagreed, Vados challenged him to fight...And he didn't say nothing...

To be fair though, #18 was weaker than #17 and I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that Whis is actually stronger.
But at least as of now, I'd say Vados > Whis but not by a lot.

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
I don't believe she didn't trained in 1000 years. Whis said that, but he also said he didn't see Champa and Vados from a long time ago. I don't think they see each other much times...She were stronger than him in 1000 years before...She is older and she possibly trained too in those 1000 years. She seemed really confident in her skills against Whis.DBZ Macky wrote:Yup, there's that too. And what's to say Vados hasn't been training too? How about SS2 Gohan from the Cell Games vs Majin Vegeta?
Anime statements say that Vegeta is more powerful, but how would such a fight go down?

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
After Goku turns SS2, Vegeta says that he's stronger than Gohan from back then (presumably the Cell Games), and he fights Goku to a standstill, so he's probably stronger than Gohan, too. While I doubt that he's massively stronger than Gohan, he's also a lot more experienced and cunning. Unless Gohan pulls some hidden power out of his ass, Vegeta will come out on top.RedShift wrote:How about SS2 Gohan from the Cell Games vs Majin Vegeta?

I have an intresting match up in mind.
Finial form 100% Freeza without being damaged by the spirit bomb, pummeled by SSJ son Goku, or having the stamina drain Vs Super Saiyan namek saga Vegeta
Who wins?

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Based on my numbers, if Vegeta had gone Super Saiyan before dying, he would've been dead even with Freeza's 100% Power. While I would normally give the win to Vegeta due to Freeza's poor stamina, this one is a bit muddier. I suppose that I would expect Vegeta to be a more skilled and strategic fighter, as opposed to Freeza who is used to getting by on nothing but his overwhelming might, but given his behavior in the Androids-Cell arc, Vegeta might be arrogant enough to make stupid mistakes after achieving Super Saiyan. I'll just flip a coin... Vegeta wins.Gog wrote:I have an intresting match up in mind.

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Vegeta should be able to pull out a win with his insane damage soak, skill, and most notably his Ki blast. Out of all the characters in the show he is one shown with the most lethal techniques, if he could somehow land a few powerful Ki attacks like how he did with Majin Buu, it would definitely cement him higher chances of winning. His combat style helps out a good deal too, since he seems to focus on parts of the body that will cause the most pain and agony.Gog wrote:I have an intresting match up in mind.

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Super Saiyan Vegeta would be about dead even with Freeza. I would think Freeza would fall to Vegeta's dirty tactics like the one he used against Zarbon, once that will happen, Vegeta will start dominating the fight. Until Freeza destroys the planet as he's about to lose similar to what he did in ROF. Except this time, there's no Whis to save Vegeta.Gog wrote:I have an intresting match up in mind.

Tenshinhan ( from Piccolo Jr. tenkaichi budokai tournament )Ki Breaker wrote:•Strongest opponent kami could beat

It was said krillin is the strongest human but was tien considered as a human during this? He is a three eyed race not really human
•Kid gohan if he actually faught vs saibamen, how many can he beat on his own all scenarios considered like them attacking together and separately
•Yamcha vs chiaotzu
Both at peak and blood lusted
•Hypothetically which level opponent could roshi beat if he got his potential unlocked by elder kai and whis trained him
Tenshinhan.
Yamcha is way stronger but if he fools around he'll be caught by Chaozu's telekenesis and he's done.
Piccolo level ( before he fused with Kami )

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
- Yamcha is significantly stronger, but his crippling fear of the opposite sex leaves him unable to actually engage his opponent. Videl wins without throwing a single punch.Roronoa-pt wrote:New matches:

- Mutaito would definitely be able to handle Cymbal and probably Tambourine, but maybe not at the same time. Though if he has a strong enough Ki attack, he could probably blast them out of existence like Goku did to the later. Point of reference: Mutaito is about as strong as Piccolo Arc Muten Roshi, in my opinion.

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Getting that sweet 50 fold increase would probably put her in the neighborhood of 300~400 if it's before her training with Gohan, and around 700~800 after her training with Gohan, so I'd say either Kami-sama or Goku and Piccolo during their fight with Raditz, depending on whether or not she had trained with Gohan or not. Though that might be overestimating her, given her relative lack of Ki control.Noah wrote:Who's the strongest character "Super Saiyan" Videl can beat?
