Well it's quite simple; When they fought Totem Mimikyu, who is considered one of the toughest bosses in the game, Maggie was like nine levels above it and so there was essentially no tension in the fight. Though I would also say using anything
but Maggie would have been an absolutely stupid and self-sabotaging move considering Totem Mimikyu's weaknesses (Ghost and Steel... and since it also knows Ghost moves itself, sending out something like Sito against it would have been an
astonishingly stupid move), but having them basically steamroll one of the hardest bosses in the game simply because they've overused that one Magneton so much is pretty damn anticlimactic.
As for the Exp. Share, others already explained it, but I would like to point out that the Exp. yield system has been changed in Sun and Moon so that the experience gained scales itself depending on the level difference between the player's Pokémon and the opponent. Basically, a lv5 Pokémon would gain
way more experience from defeating a lv10 opponent than a lv30 Pokémon would beating the exact same opponent. The fact that Maggie and Mr. Magoo are
still so far ahead of the level-curve even with this system in place kinda speaks to just how overused those two are (and how they fought way too many wild Pokémon that they could have just ignored earlier in the game. Thankfully they seem to have reached the same conclusion themselves).

I understand that's just a thing Twitch partners get, I've seen it in other streams too. It's probably there to stay. Which thankfully seems to have ultimately
not been the case for the Head-Cha-La jingle every time someone subscribed. Like, it was funny the first three times but it got annoying real fast, and quite a few people (myself included) have remarked that this latest stream was borderline unwatchable until they turned it off. Granted, the fact that they didn't get a new subscriber they had to shoutout to every two seconds later in the stream also helped.
