Funi is way better.
Some parts like what emotional? If you want something to compare them to, search in Youtube for DBZ clips, the majority of them will be funi dub.
From watching some ocean dub clips on Youtube, there's the VA that doesn't fit here and there, but what stands out more is the wrong dialog. So much seems out of character, and out of place.

Huh I actually like this version BETTER then what FUNi did. FUNi didnt even make the moment seem important with their musical choices, this showed a good musical spike on the transformation. Still not the Japanese original, but closer, then what FUNi did. I even noticed a few lines closer to Steven J. Simmons's sub script then what was in the FUNi dub. Gohan's VA is bad, but ios it really all that worse then the scruffy one FUNi used at that time period? Cell though is bad....VERY bad.raz1337 wrote:Cell's voice is just.....no. I'm trying not to be too quick to judge, but what are episodes 165-178 like with that Gohan voice? The thought of listening to Gohan's flashback sequence about his hidden power with that voice just makes me want to cry.

I could watch that scene over and over for months on end with the Funi dub. But, with that dialog and those VA's, my eyes are getting watery. Gohan's VA makes him seem 5 years younger than he really is. "Lose your restraints" compared to "Drop your restraints" from 16 seems out of character.
I remember reading a couple months ago about there being a different English dub, but I never looked into it. This is cool though to find out that the Funi dub isn't the only one. Also, if anyone wants more Ocean dub examples, here's a popular scene everyone should remember with Vegeta:
