I was able to check out dubbed ep. 1 last night...
It sounded good. On-point for the most part. Pretty much what we can expect from modern-day FUNi's approach to Dragon Ball. I doubt I'll be able to catch every episode weekly (mainly because I'd rather watch the newest Japanese episodes on Crunchyroll), but if the scripts and performances stay at this level (or even exceed them over time), then we got yet another great Dragon Ball dub to add to our Kai/BoG/RoF collections.

I can't pinpoint what it is that I dislike, the scripts weren't bad or anything, but this dub's first impression on me is significantly worse than Kai's. Then again, I have the same opinion of all the Kai 2.0 footage I've seen so far, I really wish I could pinpoint the difference in approach.
I think it might have to do with Super having a more rushed production schedule for the dub. Whereas with Kai TFC, they had
years to finish it.
One more thing: did they recast Chi-Chi? She sounded like a different actress. I don't follow English dub news that much.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.
