Vegeta in super is way better than he was in GT. His moments with Trunks such as his speech to keep trying hard, father son Galic gun, and him saying it'll be okay in episode 50 are some of his best moments in all of dragonBall. Then they'res him with kyabe, his quiet beatdown of freeza, my bulma and the speech he gives to black about goku. All of these show great character development.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

I can only agree with that line, even though I don't have much problem with it. But for me Vegeta in GT is a better character than his Super counterpart as he is more consistent with the speech he made in the battle against Boo and in the end of the manga. He is not a caricature of his past self: always grump, obsessed with Goku, having difficulty showing affection towards his wife and constantly humiliating himself to people like Beerus as in Super e.g. Even though he had nice moments with Future Trunks in the last arc, I expected more from him in this series in terms of personality.Araki wrote:No way in hell. I'll be happy about Gohan when he participates in a fight without getting wrecked.

I think post is referring to Gohan's bang that he did not have in the promo art

I am guessing you think this is new and has something to do with the upcoming arc?ailema88 wrote:Gohan fans will be happy with this

It does not. It is the promo pic for the Battle of Gods arc back in the very first chapter.

"help" is probably a bad word choice. He got the idea to start it. Like he's always gotten ideas from editors, I think (but can't be totally sure).sintzu wrote:Maybe his health is the reason that room was found.Grimlock wrote:Best wishes for Toriyama.
And that reminds me... If Toriyama needs to retire, shouldn't that "Dragon Ball Room" be active and take lead of this new saga and stuff beyond?
We know he had help with the Zamasu arc so chances are he's getting help with this arc as well.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Hope it's nothing too serious with Toriyama and that he can solve his problems.

If toriyama is indeed sick, I hope it's not bad, I would still want one thing for him to do regardless,
Many mangas I like remained incomplete and received a half assed ending from companies mainly because the mangaka, let's say, couldn't continue his work because of health issues..
Keeping this in mind toriyama should completely plan the ending of Dragonball from his vision and keep it stored away, for it to get completed in his way regardless if he is involved or not..

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Dragon Ball will keep going regardless of whether Toriyama is involved or not... well, at least as far as I can reason. First off, let's not forget that Toriyama's actual Dragon Ball manga finished decades ago (or a few years ago, depending on whether or not you count Jaco), so we always have that core story that was completed. However, even if Toriyama were to quit (or, fate forbid, he dies), there's enough lore that's been set up just in recent years that writers could make new Toriyama-esque content for years. Granted, many would write such a product off as non-canon, and others wouldn't like it just because Toriyama's name isn't attached. However, that leads into my next point; the writers nowadays seem to get Toriyama nowadays in a way they never have before. Whether it be the anime writers or Toyotaro, they both do a fine job of mixing Toriyama's immature humor with the tone of the narrative. Sometimes to the detriment of certain viewers, since Goku often comes off very Dr. Slump-ey in the show.Ki Breaker wrote:If toriyama is indeed sick, I hope it's not bad, I would still want one thing for him to do regardless,

My main point is, every series writer has a perfect ending in mind, when toriyama decided to get involved in legit continuation of Dragonball, he could be having a different ending in mind now..Jinzoningen MULE wrote:Dragon Ball will keep going regardless of whether Toriyama is involved or not... well, at least as far as I can reason. The only thing I am saying is, have him get his dream ending of the series he got involved with so much, not that Dragonball couldn't continue after that without him, but his version of the ending Should be a thing, even if others pick up after that

He might or he's writing like he did before where he doesn't plan much ahead and just focuses on the arc he's writing at the time.Ki Breaker wrote:My main point is, every series writer has a perfect ending in mind, when toriyama decided to get involved in legit continuation of Dragonball, he could be having a different ending in mind now.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
