Anyway, i'm probably the only one that is not excited for this tournament.
I'm also not excited for the tournament. I like having a mixture of adventure and fighting, and I'm worried this tournament is just gonna be "The Champa arc: Part 2" where we spend the entire arc in a single tournament ring.

Maybe I'm just more used to Z where the only big tournament was the Cell Games, and at least the Cell Games were a big plot point that capped off a much bigger story.

To each their own. I personally love the tournaments in Dragon Ball and I'm glad it's making a return after being absent from Z.

No, I don't count the Cell Games and the tournament in the Buu Saga got interrupted.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I don't see how anyone can not be excited for the tournament simply because of all the characters fighting. If it was just Goku/Vegeta again I could understand, but we're finally getting hopefully screentime for the rest of the cast.

This is literally what everyone wanted. What more do you expect?

Well, it's a tournament. This time it's a tournament without rules etc and this time if they lose the price to pay is huge, but is still a tournament.
You say that, yet we don't know the rules, the participants, the location. Saying that it's "just a tournament" doesn't actually mean anything.

My expectations are low, so odds for them to impress me once more information about what this tournament entails are pretty good.

I'm excited for the tournament because it is not the typical dragonball tournament but much more than that much bigger and of course with many new charatcers and most likely 2 vs 2 fights

It does mean something. If they haven't liked any of the tournaments in dragonball yet, then they definitely won't like this one. Tournaments have similar formula's. I love that formula but some people don't. So unless this branches into another arc, he'll most likely stay apathetic. Although I like seeing some rare positivity from you  :D

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Can there even be a bigger arc for Dragon ball then the the universal survival arc? It also has the potential to be either the best arc or the worst arc of the franchise.

Worse than ROF arc? Absolutely impossible.

Big in what way? In terms of stakes I guess it's has the highest in terms of possible destruction. Compared with most other arcs is the same; either they live or they die.
All new arcs have the potential to be the best or the worst.

Information about episode 75 from Kagari: "Goku can't find anyone to spar with him, finds police man Krillin chasing after a robber...

Elsewhere in the episode, Great Saiyaman shows up before Goku. However, the pair's bout ends up ruining the field and Chi Chi's anger explodes"

Can't stress enough how on-point these in-between episodes have been so far.

I've enjoyed all the filler in super besides for episode 68. Even the Copy-Vegeta arc haha, However, this batch has been incredible. The baseball episode was the funniest in dragonball, I love hit, and I love Gohan even more. Feels like a dream. Sucks that we're going to have to go back to shitty canon soon :P

My expectations couldn't be lower. The concept is good, but I know the execution is not gonna be on par with it. I'll still watch it, but I'm not expecting anything.

I'm more excited to see if Gotens and Trunks are going to grow up.

It would be a fun trivia if Goku actually have metioned that to Freeza in their rematch. (If he came 4 years earlier, everyone would be doomed)

Goku is not responsible for the Zeno actions. With what we know, he requested a competition that present Zeno already hinted he'd hold in the future. Either way, there's no context to anything previewed.

Not even fusion could stop Freeza?

Fresh freeza was too much for SSB, which is stronger than SSG, which is much much stronger than Vegetto..
