Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
I thought they were gonna just be posted here. Makes it confusing having two threads for the same thing. At least it saves me messing about editing it all the time I guess.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
So the Japanese ratings won't be posted here anymore? I don't really care how the dub does.

The japanese ratings will always be posted in this thread. Dub ratings have their own threads.precita wrote:So the Japanese ratings won't be posted here anymore? I don't really care how the dub does.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Wow. The gap between OP and DBS hasn't been that large since episode 60 back at the beginning of October.

Not surprising Gohan episodes tend not to do well.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Ratings are actually up from the previous episode (72).Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Not surprising Gohan episodes tend not to do well.

Actually he did pretty good. 5th place for a silly filler. Gohan's hidden potential did the trick. People seem to like himBaggie_Saiyan wrote:Not surprising Gohan episodes tend not to do well.

Eh. It's a filler episode with Great Saiyaman shenanigans. The rating doesn't surprise me.

Its higher than episode 72's ratings and its 5th place while super tends to be 7th place. Remember, the placing matters a lot because if the ratings drop but super stays the same place that means the drop in ratings wasn't related to what Super is showing at all.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Not surprising Gohan episodes tend not to do well.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Guys let me hate on Gohan.. Gosh
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
The fact that Super is doing so well in what's essentially 2-3 months of fillers says a lot. I don't see what you guys are expecting. If fillers are getting good ratings...that's a good thing.

Filler rarely effects ratings. Some of One Piece's best rated episodes were filler.precita wrote:The fact that Super is doing so well in what's essentially 2-3 months of fillers says a lot. I don't see what you guys are expecting. If fillers are getting good ratings...that's a good thing.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
It depends of junk of consecutive fillers. People in general, casuals, normally don't care if an episode is filler or not, but to much time in a filler and they loose interest, unless the filler is an amazing story.HeroR wrote:Filler rarely effects ratings. Minuscule decrease from last week. Really nothing to write home about.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
It seems the Future Trunks arc is really what raised the show's ratings. I wouldn't say the latest episodes are inherently bad, but they're not worthy of the ratings they're getting really

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Well the show had a huge boost when the Future Trunks saga began. Whether it will happen again in two episodes time or if it can do ever better or even pass One Piece is something we'll have to see.
