Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 74
It's better that they leave #67 alone, so as not to waste animators' time like that.

We haven't seen those white triangles on the characters faces for a while, did they finally removed them from the character designs?

And another one: Goku's fingers fixed! (He had 6 in tv version of episode 50)

He has the same number of fingers on both (5), they just changed the detailing on his palm.
If you're talking about the upside down ones on the character faces they've been in pretty much all of the recent episodes, including this one.Alee9977 wrote:We haven't seen those white triangles on the characters faces for a while, did they finally removed them from the character designs?

I don't think it would be that hard to at least gix Vegeta's face when he tries to power up to SSBDragonBalllKaiHD wrote:It's better that they leave #67 alone, so as not to waste animators' time like that.

The left most finger might just be extra detail on his palm that looked like a finger.Ajay wrote:Eh? They totally removed a digit. Six down to five.ArchedThunder wrote:He has the same number of fingers on both (5), they just changed the detailing on his palm.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

It's great to see they are doing these subtle changes, overall it should improve the experience

Yup, there's only 5 fingers in both versions.kinisking wrote: The left most finger might just be extra detail on his palm that looked like a finger.

That's definitely a finger. It's like the animator drew the hand the wrong way round, then tried to compensate badly on the other side.ArchedThunder wrote:Yup, there's only 5 fingers in both versions.kinisking wrote: The left most finger might just be extra detail on his palm that looked like a finger.

No, that's definitely a palm line that's just drawn a bit weird.Ajay wrote: That's definitely a finger. It's like the animator drew the hand the wrong way round, then tried to compensate badly on the other side.

[/spoiler]His pinkie finger is on the perfect edge of his hand. It going across the hand where it is wouldn't make sense as a finger anyways, not even as a thumb.

Wait what? Why this?Psykomatik wrote:https://twitter.com/Psykomatikk/status/ ... 3538955264
So there are actual corrections on the BD Box number 5! Here's the first one i spotted!
But i don't understand why this specific shot has been redrawn...
Edit: Wait......I get it......they made the shotguns look less like shotguns because the show is marketed outside of Japan. Like a censorship thing. The shotguns look like generic laser blasters.
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 74
Don't get me wrong, I can see both perspectives, but there's such a defined line across there and that little curve that looks like a bent finger. Seems like a bizarre thing to change if it were anything else, but I guess the fact we're arguing lends credibility to both sides!ArchedThunder wrote: No, that's definitely a palm line that's just drawn a bit weird.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 74
And that's it for this set! Episode 50 and 51 are the only one who gets corrections!
Overall, here are the episodes who received corrections:
- Episode 5 (Naoki Tate)
- Episode 7 (Yukihiro Kitano)
- Episode 25 (Masahiro Shimanuki)
- Episode 26 (Naoki Tate)
- Episode 37 (Yuichi Karasawa)
- Episode 38 (Naoki Tate w/ Wanpack)
- Episode 42 (Masahiro Shimanuki)
- Episode 44 (Yuichi Karasawa w/ Wanpack)
- Episode 50 (Yuichi Karasawa)
- Episode 51 (Yukihiro Kitano w/ Wanpack)
(And maybe with this comparison it becomes more apparent that they were six fingers on the TV version of episode 50?)

Hmm. I'm a bit disappointed that's all the corrections done. I really wish that Episodes 53 and 55 got some face-lifts because those episodes had some quite rough art.

They should also have fixed Goku's SSJ2 hair against Trunks and against Black in one instance (when they were exchanging blows)Lord Beerus wrote:Hmm. If we assume that this shot from 42 is Inaba then I'd say it's definitely him. The ears, nose, eyebrows, mouth shape, and check shading are nearly identical.ArchedThunder wrote:I recognize this style but don't have a name to put to it.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 74
If I remember correctly it was almost entirely shots of Bulma that got corrected in 26.
I don't know how they choose what gets corrected, but I don't think they make the best decisions.
