Krillin's training with Goku

Post by Ki Breaker » Mon Jan 16, 2017 1:18 pm

Will it help Krillin?

With this upcoming training session of a human training once again with a higher realm of power, could this be the first step for humans to achieve the godly realm?

Are humans even capable of welding such power, or is it just a final goodbye to the cast, hence Krillin training is being shown for nostalgia purposes?

Why do you think this is the final goodbye to the cast? This doesn't make any sense.

I don't, all options listed here are the opinions of groups of people I came across..
Different options are laid out to choose the most likely one..

I think it's a reminder for the tournament to come. If you mind well, Krillin so far did a Taiyoken... and that's all. The Frieza thing was almost humiliating.
There was the need to "refresh" it for the sake of new audience. "Who's that midget? Anyone knows?".
I suppose the same will be done for Roshi (maybe the same episode) and C17.
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

Honestly I hope so.

The one thing Krillin has been said to excel at, beyond even Goku is Ki control. I'm presuming the idea for Goku to train with Krillin is to get him a little better at Ki control, otherwise there's no real gains for the Saiyan to be had(outside having a fun time with his best buddy). I'm hoping in return Krillin gets a power boost that would put him at the very least on par with SSJ Goku on Namek. It'd be nice to see him narrow the gap slightly with his wife but I think that's fanciful talk.

Failing that, one good thing that could come from training is a confidence boost.
This is what seems to hold Krillin back most. He's named as the strongest Earthling but due to fear he never gets to look half as strong as Tenshinhan even. Krillin's lack of confidence makes utter sense within the context of the series, but it's a barrier he needs to overcome as a warrior himself.

He's got the brains, he's got the skills, he has the speed, he has the durability, he (sort of) has the strength, and he has the heart, but a lifetime of being best buddy's with Superman, his son and a bunch of freakishly powerful aliens have drained him of his self worth as a fighter.

"Fuck."

I pray it leads to Krllin's power swelling like never before. Not just that, but I want this episode to provide a better perspective of Krillin's character. Like what he's training for and how much he loves his family and his extended family with Android 17, how much he values his friendship with Goku, and how much that motivates him to get stronger.

I'm just excited to get a "Gokû and Krillin" episode. Mayumi Tanaka's always so busy with Luffy.
On hiatus.

I'm looking forward to this episode aswell and if there's an earthling that deserves atention, that one is Krillin. I do hope he gets very strong but more importantly, more confident about himself as a fighter.
I'm back!

You know what would be fun, if Toriyama takes a cue from the Supersonic Warriors game and has Goku teach Krillin the Kaioken.
