Is DBS trying to make Pan more powerful than she was in GT?
DBS has Pan accomplish feats as a baby that are comparatively greater than what she did in GT (flying into space, taking on monsters). I'm getting the idea that she's being soft-rebooted to be a better version of herself than she was in GT.

A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.

When she was 3 at the end of DBZ, she was already shown to fly around the world. Its more in line with the end of the manga/anime.

Powerful or not, dosen't really matter,
Gt pan accomplished something which super pan can never, make me quit watching Dragonball altogether..
Whatever they do with super pan, it could never be as bad as her gt persona..
Besides, she is already plenty powerful as her eoz self, this is just the buildup to that, both power and personality wise

"better version of herself"
Super will never go past DBZ's ending, so the answer is No. As precita said, they are just building her up to how strong she was by the age of 3.
Making some conspiracy theories or soft-reboots is wrong, seeing how GT Pan is still willingly used for new merchandise or game advertisment (DB Fusions, Xenoverse etc)

I only care she's very more enjoyable in Super.
I found her really enervating in GT.A kind of person I will never get along.

GT is 5 years after Z.Zinnia wrote:"better version of herself"

They can easily squish something in those 5 years if they run out of material during the 10-year gap we're in right now.

I don't believe for a second that the Toei give two fucking shits about whatever happened in GT.

Exactly, most likely it will go past EoZ, if Super still gets those high rating levels and has good merchandising sales this show can last plenty of time, they even made the DB room for new ideas so they want this to last more time and it won't If they don't continue after EoZKi Breaker wrote:We don't know thatZinnia wrote: Super will never go past DBZ's ending, so the answer is No

When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

I seriously doubt that new Dragon Ball will not go past end of Z at this point, time is moving forward somewhat closely to real time(The Universe Survival arc seems to be about a year after the last tournament) in the show and new Dragon Ball isn't going anywhere. I give it 3 and a half years until we hit end of Z, max.Zinnia wrote:"better version of herself"
Super will never go past DBZ's ending, so the answer is No.
The only way I see Super never going past the end of Z is if Super ends at the end of Z and is immediately followed up by a show that takes place after.
Super openly ignores GT, how game devs use GT is totally irrelevant to the future of Super. It's all but confirmed at this point that Super is in a separate continuity from GT and there is no need to cripple a successful show to make it fit with a not so popular show. Even if/when Super passes Z they'll still continue to include GT in video games because it's a part of Dragon Ball, it doesn't matter if it's a separate continuity, just because it's separate from the current continuity doesn't mean developers and merchandisers have to just completely throw GT out, its existence is not erased.Making some conspiracy theories or soft-reboots is wrong, seeing how GT Pan is still willingly used for new merchandise or game advertisment (DB Fusions, Xenoverse etc)
