A bit late to the party on the new GoD but I personally like him, since these gods are selected from mortals like Kami's are they could be any type of creature.

His design nicely sets him apart from Beerus and Champa.

Most of it isn't anything new.

18's bio mentions we might see "combination attacks" with #17 and Kuririn.

The pillar at the center of the stage acts as a clock (I'm assuming it works like a sundial). The semi-circular think is for the spectators and the smaller structure is Zen'ou's throne.

To be honest I'm not disappointed in the new GOD design. Looks okay. I wonder what his/its twin universe counterpart would look like. But the angel looks too silly. Like a bulky, angry Whis copy. Eh, maybe they'll look better when they debut on screen in a few weeks.

These are my thoughts as well. The Toriyama designs never get translated onto screen 1:1.

The God of Destruction is all right. Could be worse, I guess. I don't like the Angel, though. He looks very sloppily designed.

Looking forward to seeing that ring and the combination attacks!

I was expecting more designs to be honest. Only two? Unless they are going to be important to the story, it just looks quite random to show us just a Hakaishin and his angel. Maybe they are the U10 ones? They are good designs. Not really memorable or unique since the angel looks bland compared to Vados and Whis and the Hakaishin itself is very similar to certain characters from DQ, but they are not recolours or bad designs by themselves. At least at the moment.

The arena is alright. I never expected different ones. People is definetly hyping evrything too much. Remember than FT arc could have been the best arc in the franchise ever, but it wasn't for a lot of reason. The same will apply to this new arc.

BTW, it looks like Toriyama's drawing are improving a lot compared to his designs for BoG and RoF. At least IMO

Yeah, look at Zamasu for example. The manga pretty much made him just like in Toriyama's drawing, while the anime made him skinner , more elf-like. People should wait to see them onscreen and in movement.

That's true! Both Whis and Vados sashes' share the same symbols as their respected bosses. Does the text revel who they are or they're just in the image?

Something tells me this tournament (At least at this point) won't finish, and a new bad guy or Whis's daddy will set a plan into motion or something. If it does go to the end you know goku will just wish for it to be undone, or be revealed to be above Zeno. Those are my guesses, I'm going with the first where it ends up similar (not exactly) like the 28th tenkaichi budokai.

I was thinking the same when I saw them, but I think it would be even more random to show two not related designs, I dunno. I mean, why they didn't show the four of them then?

Then again, maybe is similar to the last arc when we early got a design for Zamasu (in fact at the same time than Goku Black, and it was bigger IIRC) but not a Gowasu one. So they are showing the ones who will be really important to the story or something.

Bes later came to be regarded as the defender of everything good and the enemy of all that is bad.

If this is what the new GOD is based upon then it sounds like he'll be a good guy.

They will show off the other ones later. They probably want to keep the other ones as a surprise later on.

To be honest I can see one or more universe playing dirty. Don't know if this would be the correct route for it to happen though. What if Zeno found out, automatically disqualified the universe responsible and destroyed it?

I don't think the outfit matches his body. Beerus and Champa it works for because the clothing looks Egyptian and them being cats was a good fit.

That dwarf looks more like a Viking though so he could have probably have done with a more Norse looking outfit.

It'd have been cool if all the Gods were made up of pairs with each pair representing a certain mythology. So Beerus and Champa would have been based on Egyptian Gods then another two based on Norse Gods and them another two based on Greek gods etc.

I like the new designs, the dwarf reminds me of runescape. Is Beerus really supposed to be the strongest? Also I'm not sure every twin pair of universes has the same race of God of Destruction. I'm thinking Champa and Beerus are legitimately twin brothers born from... well wherever they come from.
