It amuses me greatly that Curious George makes the top 10 ratings for all anime in Japan.

I wonder if after that PV of the next arc the rating is going to increase in next episode because everybody may be waiting for a new trailer or something. Also I alredy want to see ratings for 77, although nothing impressive is going to happen there, that episode is getting a lot of advertisement everywhere, and knowing there is a new OP will make people more interested in that episode, but, I don't think it will have a better rating than 47 though.

#75

Sazae: 12.6
Chibi Maruko-chan: 9.2
Crayon Shin-chan: 9.1
Doraemon: 9.0
one piece: 8.2
Dragon ball super(#75): 7.6
Detective Conan: 7.4
Time bokan 24: 4.0
Pocket Monsters Sun & Moon: 3.9
Yo-kai watch: 2.9

Note: This episode received more rating than entire BOG(except #1), ROF, U6, and Black arc(Except #47), yes even vegetto episode. This is the 3rd highest rating of Super's entire run so far.

They made the right choice to give Krillin and 18 big parts in the upcoming arc then. The two of them are a bigger audience draw than I thought.
Also I loved the storyboards for 75; whoever made those please have them do more episodes. Those sweeping nature shots with Gokû and Krillin walking along through the forest are the kind of stuff I'd wished for in Super since before it started.

I did enjoy seeing Goku and Kuririn in that scene.

Impressive and proves that fans don't give a crap if an episode is 'filler'. They watched whatever interest them. At the same time, all the ratings seem to be up this week.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

the ratings are so high because of the preview. look around the net and see all of the fan art of all the new characters.

But did they advertise ahead of the advertisement that Brolli power girl was going to be in a preview at the end of the episode? How would people know to tune in for it?

If I was waiting only for an ad I wouldn't sit through the whole episode, but only watch the end.

It's probably because Goku was back. After two episodes of Saiyaman stuff from the looks of it seems it didn't appeal.

If that was true, then the hit episodes wouldn't do worse than the saiyaman ones.

I think it has more to do with every show boosting up this week for some reason, Gohan and Goku training, and most importantly that krillin and Goku nostalgia.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Yeah. I'd be hesitant to just mark it down to each show doing better since DBS is the only one to do nearly 2% higher.

Yeah, there was definitely something that happened with Super this week so I think it's a combination of those 3 rather than just one of them. Maybe another factor is if the viewers already knew about the vilians coming back? I think next week might even be better. That preview seems to have done wonders in the western community and I'm assuming it's the same in Japan .

It is because it was actually intersting and it had Krillin do something. Episode 75 adds something to the show unlike episode 74 and 74 which should have been about characters training.

Maybe Episode 77 will be the first time DBS surpasses One Piece?
