How many episodes for the Universe Survival Arc?

The name of the next opening is called 'Limit Break x Survivor'. If it's named that to line up with the next arc, I imagine we'll get a good bit of episodes. I could imagine around a year's worth or more.

I forgot to mention, but shows like Dragon Ball Super fall under the 'infinite cour' (mugen kuuru) moniker. These series basically run forever and have no set ending, like Hibike! Euphonium did as two separate one cour series.

My avatar is from Seitenka-go. Shin'yuu to, a web comic by Eroe. It tells the story of Igarashi Kyou, a high school delinquent who becomes afflicted with the TS Syndrome and gradually becomes a girl. Over the course of the 2,000 page comic Kyou experiences what it's like being a girl as he tries to wait out the syndrome's usual four months-to-four-years course. At first Kyou still acts like he did as a man--like walking around the apartment he shares with best friend Souji naked--but over time he becomes increasingly feminine. Souji, who initially treats Kyou as an outlet for free sex, begins to see Kyou more and more as a real girl as he helps him deal with clothing issues and the bodily issues women have. It's an incredibly sweet and heart-warming tale of friendship that has a spectacular ending. The initial work was released for free on Pixiv, but a few months ago Eroe uploaded his full version for download: the 580-ish page original story, a sequel and two alternate routes for a total of 2,000 pages. Only the original story line has been translated so far by fans, but it's definitely worth reading. It will change your perception of the potential of 18+ comics forever. My avatar is based on a drawing by Eroe for promotional purposes. The first is Kyou as a man, the second is Kyou as a woman, but still acting with the mind of a man. 50+ episodes probably. The tournament is too big for it to be shorter than any of the other arcs. Just seeing all the 10 fighters in the tournament will not make the tournament boring, unless Toriyama is just going to mess around with some of them. If that happens then the arc needs to be as short as possible.

i mean the universe 6/7 tournament has had 13 episode with only 10 fighters but now there are 105 fighters so it must be a really long arc

As long as the fights are neither rushed nor dragged I'm good. An episode per match and 3-4 episodes for the main battle would be ideal, I think.

We probably wont see all the fights but we will see other fights apart from universe so we can see who they will fight in the future. The last one lasted 14 episode for a tournament between 2 so one between 12 needs to be a lot longer as universe 7 will fight a lot more oppenents.

If this tournament is to progress pretty far (which I think is likely before it possibly gets interrupted or something comes up), 30-40 episodes could work. If it goes all the way until the end and then has something else as a direct follow-up, I could see maybe 40-60. Should give plenty enough episodes to flesh characters out, and give some decent fights.
