Cell wasn't anywhere near full power at the time, and there's no evidence, after the fight with Raditz, of the Kamehameha being able to put out more power than the user's maximum ki level.supersaiyangodgogeta wrote: What does that have to do with anything? Full power Cell wouldn't even tank SSJ Goku's standard Kamehameha(over 2x amp) let alone the Super variant(logically a 4x amp at the very least), so he is weaker than Broly by far.
Remember, a more powerful Broly in movie 10 had some minor difficulty with a weakened Ssj2 Gohan, so movie 8 Broly wasn't drastically above Cell arc Ssj Goku like you're suggesting.

Cell not being full power wasn't even the point. He can't tank it anyway since full power Cell isn't even 2x stronger than SSJ Goku.Darkprince410 wrote:Cell wasn't anywhere near full power at the time, and there's no evidence, after the fight with Raditz, of the Kamehameha being able to put out more power than the user's maximum ki level.supersaiyangodgogeta wrote: What does that have to do with anything? What are you talking about? The kamehameha amplifies one's ki level. That's what the Raditz fight shows. There is no "there's no evidence after the Raditz fight". That doesn't even make sense.
Yes, M8 Broly is several times stronger than SSJ Goku, otherwise he couldn't have tanked a heavily amped attack. That can't even be contested.

What I'm saying is that, after the battle with Raditz, there's no indication that it brings the user's battle power beyond it's normal maximum. That's why Goku's 4x Kaiou-ken + Kamehameha is officially listed as simply being 4x Goku's base form, and not multiplied beyond that or anything along those lines. Rather, it generally comes across that, early on, Goku and the others simply had no means of powering up naturally, and needed the focusing power of a ki attack to do so. Once they learned how to power up naturally, we don't see attacks like the Kamehameha bring the user past their maximum normal level or not.supersaiyangodgogeta wrote: Cell not being full power wasn't even the point. And again, movie 10 Broly, who was stronger than movie 8 Broly, was shown to have some minor difficulty with Ssj2 Gohan, who was weaker than his Cell arc self, putting him maybe 2x above Ssj Goku (Cell arc) at best. This would put movie 10 Broly not that far above Ssj2 Gohan, and thus movie 8 Broly was weaker than that.
As for taking Goku's attack, this was after Goku had been tossed around a bit, and again, it wasn't actually amped up beyond his existing maximum.

I was busy for like 10 hours and when I return we have a killer clown, 10 gods of destructions the kaioshins the angles, two Zeno's dancing, a shady character with the gods, a female broly, frost returns, a wolf man, a pink blob, grand priest doing something odd, cabba still an SS, saw episode and SS gohan vs SS goku is actually a thing, Krillin wants to get stronger, 18 supports it, possibly a look at the antagonist ,we have great sound track, awesome animation and possibly a peek at female broly's tits if we hit her hard enough..
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU COULD HAVE FIT IN THOSR HOURS TOIE
I need a moment to digest all of this..
Oh and totally serious about getting a peek at female broly tits, her non legendary form is the cutest thing ever

You're making a pointless distinction that isn't implied solely to benefit you're own argument. The Raditz fight shows that it amps the power level. All what you're saying implies is that the Kamehameha takes after the Kaioken boosted powerlevel if the boost goes beyond the Kamehameha's natural amp.
Goku opted for Kaiokenx3 immediately and a Kamehameha at that level is greater than the amp that the Kamehameha provided from his natural level.
Apparently Goku blew Cell's body apart with an attack that was weaker than Cell. Apparently there is no difference between the Kamehameha and the Super Kamehameha since neither amplify the powerlevel. It's fact that Goku wouldn't have been able to destroy Cell's upper body with a completely unamped attack since he was weaker than Cell.
Saying that Broly had "trouble" with Gohan(not true since none of Gohan's hits damaged him) isn't even measurable criteria in this case since it provides no concrete gap. You're just speculating. That doesn't supersede the fact that Broly must be X level if he can tank an attack that is amplified to Y extent.

The Raditz fight shows Goku and Piccolo powering up through ki techniques, when up to that point they've never once shown the capacity to power up or down at will. Afterward, once they're shown being able to power up and down at will, nothing is ever shown or suggested that the Kamehameha is amplifying Goku's strength at all. As for the difference between the Kamehameha and Chou Kamehameha, it's simply how much of his power that he is putting into it.supersaiyangodgogeta wrote: You're making a pointless distinction that isn't implied solely to benefit you're own argument. And no, what I'm saying isn't that it takes after the boosted battle power instead of the natural amp, but simply that there's no "amp" after the Raditz fight, once Goku and the others seemingly learn how to power up and down at will. That Goku's actual battle power when fighting Raditz was 924+, but that, without the focusing power of a Kamehameha at the time, he couldn't tap into that power.
And yes, Broly did have some trouble. Look at his inability to keep Gohan in the one body lock, when Vegeta was able to hold Dodoria in a similar lock with only a strength difference of ~17%. Then you have a weakened Ssj Gohan, Goten, and "maybe" Ssj Goku overpowering and overwhelming Broly's attack and sending him into the sun. So, arguably, Broly was within 17% of Ssj2 Gohan's strength, and this was a more powerful Broly than the one from movie 8, so that'd put movie 8 Broly at even closer to Gohan than that, if not weaker.
You do know that Cell taking Goku's Kamehameha so poorly can readily be explained by the fact he simply wasn't defending against it. He had no idea the attack was coming from that direction until it was too late, and we've seen that an attack on an undefended and open target does far more than if the target is taking it head on.

No, 924 wasn't Goku's powerlevel. It was the powerlevel of his Kamehameha. Suppressing your battle power has nothing to do with amplifying your power with ki attacks. Absolutely nothing.Darkprince410 wrote:The Raditz fight shows Goku and Piccolo powering up through ki techniques, when up to that point they've never once shown the capacity to power up or down at will. Lets stop with the reaching. Cell was blown apart because he was weaker than the Kamehameha, far weaker. Broly was in the same open, unguarded position and nothing happened to him. If the attack was weaker than Cell, then it wouldn't have blown him apart since he would be at a level of power greater than the Kamehameha. At most, it would just knock him away due to him being caught off guard. Not once has anyone been blown apart by a move that's inferior to their power level. Does Vegeta's Final Flash not have an amp as well? Come on now, this is getting completely ridiculous.
Broly is directly shown to be several times stronger than Goku. There isn't anyway to get around the Super Kamehameha tank feat. He is literally shown to be several times stronger than Goku in M8. Your opinion of his M10 performance isn't relevant nor is your interpretation of it's significance accurate. He can't be barely stronger than SSJ2 Gohan yet completely tank SSJ Goku's Super Kamehameha.
None of Gohan's attacks did any damage to Broly and he didn't break Broly's grip either. He just gave himself enough leverage to knee Broly and briefly stun him, which again did no damage.
Means nothing since SSJ2 Vegeta can flinch Janemba even though he far surpasses SSJ3 Goku in power.
Goku and Gohan powered up to SSJ2 during the final push and the only reason they succeeded is because Trunks kept Broly from feeding more ki into his attack.

Might just be the design, but does anyone think the lady looking GoD might be the strongest one since she has head gear with the shapes? The trailer showing the gods kneeling to Zeno showed a small GoD with a cone hat on their head. I'm not sure if it was that GoD or not but it was rather a small figure. At least we know the huge one is probably that robot. ;D
Edit: Wait, we also see a tiny mouse like GoD in the trailer as well. I could totally imagine that little thing being the strongest lmao
