Aw I was hoping the salt levels would be still high....but they're still there. Broly fans probably going nuts he might be so called canon, and other fans wanting their eyes gouged out. Please have them say Broly in the anime and manga, just to piss everyone off more.

I've seen more Broly fans pissed about Fem!Broly than non-Broly fans...

I've seen far more Broly haters pissed off than Broly fans. It's amazing how massive the butthurt is. I can also see off site some of the ass kissing too.

Seriously I'm convinced Broly is only hated so much, because he's popular more than anything else. Even out of the movie villains and specials, you can find worse than him. No one complains about those far lamer guys, because they're not as popular.

Nah, I'm agreeing with you. Popularity and relevance do have an impact on these anti-fanbases.

- Frost, Female Broly and GoD Clown's team-

I would like to believe they would do something interesting with Frost's character, but after they blew it in Champa arc my hopes for that are 0.

Female Broly reminds me of Biscuit Krueger from HunterxHunter. It would be cool if she was half as interesting character as Biscuit is. I just don't know what to expect from her. It's so unnecessary to make her look like Broly.

I also would like to know if this was Toriyama's or Toei's idea because both are crazy to pull it off. If anything, they definitely gave a new meaning to the saying - "Kill two birds with one stone.". I would like her to be related to Cabba and she falling in love for Goku like I already read here would be perfect.

However I have high expectations for GoD Clown's team and I hope Toriyama delivers. Don't know if they will be villains, but they got more focus than the rest in the trailer and it would be cool if Toriyama doesn't make the clown a gag character like Buggy from One Piece. Anything but that! I don't see him pull off a Hisoka but he can still be an awesome character.

His Angel is by far the best one too. I would feel protected with a guardian Angel like that taking care of me. <3

One of my main problems with Champa's tournament was how empty it felt with the lack of audience. With the Gods of every Universe watching the fights with their teams, this is one less thing I have to worry about.

I personally starting to grown to like the Clown GoD. It won't surprise me if the Clown GoD ends up being the most darkest and violent GoD since Clowns in most media have been view as evil (The Joker, The Clown from It, Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal and Violator from Spawn).

Exactly why I am enjoying the salt. Too many people whined about an irrelevant character who was only in a couple movies, and supplementary stuff. Who cares. It's not like it was "THE BROLY SHOW." "BROLY ARC." "DBZ STARRING BROLY". "DRAGON BALL BANG FEATURING BROLY." Nothing even close to that. Now if they actually had Broly, made the entire writing about Broly, and changed the tone to be Broly no matter where you go, THEN I would see the reason to complain. I would be complaining too.

The dwarf = Nordic mythology

Many anime characters has references to comics or hollywood movies i hate peeple who knows shit and complaining about Akira when everyone does it

Vs titles are common in Japan, like Godzilla vs. King Kong. It doesn't have to be reference to Batman vs. Superman.

I mean he says it is a lame Harley Quinn reference acting like Akira does it for the first time

For example Frieza 2 form is a reference to Alien or Cooler's form a reference to the Predator so i don't understand his complain

My problem is not anime having western references, but that considering Joker and Harley Quinn are recent from Suicide Squad, it seems cheap to me.

I actually can't imagine any way for Female Broly to be good. I wonder if she's just there to give 18 her designated female fight.

I agree with this sentiment, Broly complaints are just like GT complaints, both were just made for entertainment and are not rubbed in our faces as something that did happen in the original story of Dragon Ball, but yet people tends to hate.

The thing is I actually love Brolina's base design. If she just became a regular super saiyan or maybe even ssj2 or 3 I would actually ADORE the design. I just hate the genderbent Broly-esque lssj design.

As for the others, they're ok. none of them really wowed me nor really annoyed me except for the Buggy the clown god, his assistant, and the hooded dude has some potential to look badass. Those three interest me greatly.

What a fascinating turn of events. I feel that the reveal of this new "Broly-like" character is probably the most fascinating thing to happen with Dragon Ball Super. It has a lot possible implications of the brand with Toei, Toriyama and more. Just from a financial standpoint it is a automatic money-maker due to the notoriety of the Broly character. Lets not kid ourselves, Dragon Ball is just a franchise like any other; a franchise to make money but looking cool while doing it. Just look at the discussion and controversy it has sparked from a simple 3 second clip. Its too early to pass judgement on the character as we know nothing about but hey it wont be fandom without premature excitement or hate. So many called the initial announcement of "Goku Black" as a Tree of Might 2.0 or just a "evil Goku" and now many consider him to be one of the best villains. I believe any idea can work and its all on the execution.

The implications are interesting as in how did this concept came to be? It speaks to Toei's involvement with writing Super and not just Toriyama leading the ship as we know that the Future Trunks Arc was partially suggested by the editorial department. Obviously to tie in with the popularity of Future Trunks in Heroes and Xenoverse. Just look at how fast new Heroes cards of recent Super characters come out. Its all part of the "Dragon ball Room" to maximize their property in coordination with all departments to produce a product that is accessible globally. At this rate anything is possible with Super and that is the most exciting part for me personally. Don't think of me being cynical because I'm really enjoying Super as of now and I cant wait to see what happens next!

Yes, everything from start to finish (except Goku's face in the end of the PV) seem to be from the opening, but maybe they will show us new scenes in next episode.

This next arc will make or break Super as a whole. If the other characters outside Goku/Vegeta don't get decent fights, all this hype will be for nothing. Gohan and Krillin fighting again, actually bringing back 17 and 18, Majin Buu hopefully getting a fight this time to make up for him sleeping the last time, etc.

This arc is going to be brutal if its not good.
