All this new info makes not want to write my Cargo story.
When I see characters that might have huge potential to the enormous World I'm building, I stop and wait. Imagine if one of those Hakaishins is the type that works in the shadows and created Boo, for example.

I guess I have to do as Alruneia and let go of the main show eventually.

LightBing just let go of dragon ball super, just borrow some elements from it, honestly I may do that with my fan fiction as well. Follow with Alrunia's way, and cut off from the main show

I've been thinking of doing a RWBY/DB crossover, at least a one shot where Goku, who's pretty much identical to his manga counterpart except he lives on Remnant, runs into Weiss instead of Bulma and the two go on an adventure together.

If I went further with this, I'd probably have Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien make up the standard RWBY 4-man team with Roshi serving as their pre-academy fighting master. Goku's weapon would be a reworked version of the Power Pole with KK serving as his Semblance (if I REALLY went further, I'd make KK an incomplete form of Super Saiyan). Krillin would control the wind and have big ass throwing disks to serve as a nod to the Kienzan, I'd probably make him team leader too. Yamcha would either get his sword or clawed fingers and feet as a nod to Wolf Fang Fist with Super Speed as his Semblance. Tien wouldn't use any weapons but rather fight with his bare fists, I'd probably make him the closest to the "classic" version as he'd be able to fire off beams of energy but at the cost of his life as well as energy.

Either way, the idea does have merit and sounds like it could be interesting... Especially Krillin having a giant death frizby

In general, don't sweat the details & have fun when you're writing. Without those elements, it becomes work & it'll kill your motivation quickly. And when I say don't sweat the details, it means just keep writing until you feel you must stop. Continuity can be edited before publishing the final release. I've had too many people get hung up on their first chapter when they have an entire novel to complete. You can fill in the blanks & correct inconsistencies later while ironing out your finished work.

Well, actually I was wrong. One of the jokes for the Kasonna character is his/her constantly using strange titles for his enemies and allies, thus continually confusing the other characters. As well as his/her perverted nature.

I can't for the life of me think of a way of turning Goku evil without going the very generic "He remembers his Saiyan programming" route. The best I can do is abuse the alternate timelines to give him a fate that would leave him depressed and apathetic, and he could function as an antagonist that way, but by the end of the story arc he'll just end up turning good again.

I can write current Goku to continuously grow more reckless until he's a liability, and that again would let him function as an antagonist, but I'm stuck on ways of making him a villain.

A logical end point for the character and one that you can realistically see happen to Goku without fundamentally changing his entire personality, the problem with that is you're just making him Perfect Cell & Beerus at that point.

Get creative. Draw inspiration from the man most like Goku, Beerus. Have it so Goku becomes the strongest, no one capable of challenging him, no one capable of giving him a good fight. So he gets bored and blow's up planets for the most trivial of reasons, But put your own spin on it.
