If they want to bring back Bardock, they can do this in more than one way, him being dead isn't preventing anything. True, but how do we know Dragon Ball Online's Bardock isn't Toriyama's? His personality there and in Dragon Ball Minus are the same, so who knows?

You can also power him up by different ways too, Online/Xenoverse 2 already gave an idea to it.

Because Toriyama outright said that Bardock was just a low class warrior who never made it to a mid-class. He was just powerful for his ranked, meaning he's maybe at best around the strength of Raditz. And what other way are you referring to, someone grabbing him before he dies like Xenoverse and Online?

Online/Xenoverse didn't give any ideas. That just randomly powered-up. If they're going to do that, why revived a foot-soldier? Get King Vegeta who was originally the strongest Saiyan in the universe.

Yeah, of course. If they want to bring him back without using Shenlong, they can easily come up with something like a wormhole in Xenoverse or Mira appearing and saving him in Online.

Future Gohan literally has the exact same personality as our Gohan. He didn't like training any more than our Gohan, he just had to.

Hero R, I don't think he was pathetic at all. He had pretty much no guidance from anyone on how to train, and most likely didn't train in the 3 year gap either. Plus he didn't know the HTC. No wonder why he wasn't that strong.

Even nameless namekian piccolo couldn't beat 17 granted he was a bit stronger than his future self, and piccolo was many times stronger than a SS..

Because Bardock was the one that was chosen in Dragon Ball Online. But I'm pretty sure that can be done wonderful things with King Vegeta and Tarble as well.

Eh, I'm skeptical. Bulma wouldn't really know how strong Trunks or Gohan is and she say's they're about the same power instead of outright saying they are the same power level. I think that gives Future Gohan enough lee way to be anywhere from ssj Goku when he comes back to earth to ssj Vegeta against the androids. I think that's respectable considering he didn't have proper training methods or someone to properly train with.

That's all well and good but what is it about goku getting back in shape?
He has been training all the time

Are they trying to use this excuse to fix the power scaling of SS goku vs SS gohan, that goku was out of shape..
