I just read the scene you're talking about, DaemonCorps, and he doesn't use the word "once" in the French version of the manga. Does anybody know if it's used in the Japanese manga?

Vegeta's line in the Japanese manga: "Ko...koitsu ni inochi o tasukerareta koto mo atta...!"

So there's no "once" mentioned in the Japanese, just the fact that his life has been saved by him.

I assumed he was talking about the Saiyan saga incident, but since he doesn't specify it being only once, he could very well be talking about multiple times.
