They both look fun, Champa's ultimate looks awesome (also horrible to go up against) and Vadoes seems like she's going to be a very tough fight with all those spheres she can throw out and control.
Edit: Well the shouting move is from super, I am guessing Champa's ultimate is based on the manga were he used homing attacks. Maybve his basic signature will his "Punishment of the God of Destruction" from heroes, that for the name will be passed on to his ultimate.

Shorter.
Botamo may appear, although I highly doubt, but Magetta? How a game like XV2 which is supposed to have a dynamic and fast gameplay would handle Magetta who stands still almost all the time? It's no surprise that he didn't appear.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

I just got around to beating the expert missions and Mission 15 is a nightmare! Anyone else hate that whirlwind attack that attacks everyone as well as every enemy uses that stupid afterimage dodging?
I also finally Z-ranked PQ 59. Vegito is relentless is in attacking Super Buu and AI partners are near worthless in that part of the quest.

He doesn't stand still. Magetta is quite fast. He's just a ground base fighter that Xenoverse seems to hate, hence the no Dragon Ball characters.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.
I really am incredibly intrigued to see who will voice Champa and Vados.

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

The game is all about skill, and for those cheap casual fucks who spam the most Op broken moves. You already know the reason to why your getting your but kicked.
MCDaveG wrote:Those stamina breaks and stuff are retarded. XV1's gameplay was broken on hit detection, but I had more fun with it.
I actually like the stamina break system, its a risk reward type of thing, you either get it and manage to get massive damage, or you don't get it, and take massive damage, what else is retarded? I had more fun with Xenoverse 2, until the slowness arrived.
MCDaveG wrote:Yeah, I can't play the game, like at all. I suck at it.
I can't play it at all as well, I literally cannot play the game. As my game is slower, and even the biggest noob can hand my ass back to me.
I think it is mostly that style of the fighting gameplay that I don't like... I am more for a mellee combo type, like Injustice, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Street Fighter... With combos, blocking, variations and such. I liked Budokai tough, being a cheap fighter for casuals, it was visual fun.
Stamina break is OK, but when playing against AI, it looks like the whole gameplay is about stamina break. I am dissapointed highly, as the game is made by Dimps. There is no difficulty level either, it's just spamming AI.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

One thing, their is a difficulty for the AI, especially considered when it took TFS 4 episodes to get past Freeza, and Coola. And besides that there is combo's, blocking and variations, it's just that this game isn't your thing.
Anime Kitten wrote:I don't understand why people complain about XV2's story being lacking or a rehash when they literally said that's what it was going to be - several times, in fact. I wouldn't be able to find the exact statements, but if you browse through this thread during the pre-release news era, I think you'd see it mentioned a few times.
Because it is. It feels like mission-pack sequel story, something that could have easily been created as DLC for the first game. Keep in mind, I am not talking about game mechanics, but what got people interested in the first Xenoverse was that we were getting something slightly different than replaying Z. Now, Xenoverse feels like you're playing Z with some interesting twists now and then, but its still the same story. Doesn't help that the entire Time Patrol feels like an excuse to have players relive Z and they don't do anything else with it.
The fact that Xenoverse also ignores the original Dragon Ball and also really annoys me. There is a whole story before Raditz, which is about a third of the original manga. This is like Naruto ignoring the entirety of Part 1.
I agree that the original Dragonball should be added, but at the same time I understand the limitation on characters they could use, the most I could see them using is Kid Goku(Base, Power Pole Pro), Master Roshi, Max Power Roshi, Yajirobe, King Piccolo and Tambourine, it should go like this in Xenoverse 3, the first stage isn't the Raditz fight this time it'll be the second, the first stage is the King Piccolo fight with Kid Goku, the Time Breakers are using dark magic to power up King Piccolo making him stronger than he's suppose to be and to make matters worse Tambourine shows up(ala BT3) having been saved by the Time Breakers at the last second(ala Bardock) from Kid Goku's blast in his and Kid Goku's last fight and is also powered up, so the Time Patrol sends the Future Warrior to back up Kid Goku, after Dark Tambourine and Dark King Piccolo are defeated a cutscene plays where Kid Goku uses Penetrate to plow through King Piccolo(who spits out an egg), and therefore the timeline is fixed.
And for fun you can fight Dark Yajirobe and Dark Roshi/Max Power Roshi in Parallel Quest.
Or at the very least, if they don't want to make a lot of new characters, they could start at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai and make a Chichi and a Cyborg Tao model and give the other characters slightly different outfits.( Goku gi with yellow accent for Kame sign, Yamcha's Hair, etc) Voila! It's the closest to Z, and everybody looks the same!

The best way to fix the giant cancer that is the DB Wiki is to provide an alternative for those who really want it. Even those who prefer dub names will wind up looking things up on the Kanzenshuu Wiki. Because sooner or later, they're going to need information they know they can trust.

I hope Stephanie Young does Vados
That would be a problem since she does Towa. Unless Young has a degree of range I dont know about that can warrant her doing Vados without sounding too much like Towa.
Wouldnt mind Caitlin Glass doing her. She doesnt have anything else to do in Dragon Ball aside from one of the Time Patroller voices. Jamie Marchi could do her too.
Lord Beerus wrote:I really am incredibly intrigued to see who will voice Champa and Vados.
I hope and pray that Vados will be voiced by the talented Vic Mignogna, she's got great range. For Champa I see no one better to voice him than Peter Kelamis he's got the perfect pitch to pull him off.
