Are they trying to use this excuse to fix the power scaling of SS goku vs SS gohan, that goku was out of shape..

I don't think Goku is actually out of shape, it's probably not something people should worry about.

I don't think Goku is actually out of shape, it's probably not something people should worry about.

Could simply mean that Goku is getting back in shape since he's been fighting fodder for who knows how long after Hit.

Remember in the first trailer we saw the gods and Kai's kneeling for the Omni Kings and Daishinkan. Last episode we heard Whis say they have to go to the Summit involving the other GoDs. Do you think we might see this scene this Saturday? It doesn't seem like it will show on the 5th based on the description.

Damn it I don't want the tournament just to drop. I'm hoping we get some prep time, instead of just having everyone outside of Goku & Vegeta thrown to the wolves. I want prep time and training dammit.

Considering gohan got his gi back and is rocking not his Saiyaman suit which is the only version of him that fights ( as stated by him recently ) we are gonna get some preparation time sure..

The other universes would have known about the tournament for a long time. The U6 and U7 tournament is on Godtube and everyone would see Zen'o arriving announcing a new tournament. Goku and Vegeta specifically have been training the entire time for it. Not sure why you think all the gods and angels are just being told now about this tournament, which would give Beerus and Champa the advantage.

This is nice. Do we know when the new intro will leak (if it leaks at all)? As for the upcoming saga, I too would appreciated 2-4 episodes dedicated to training to prepare for the tournament.

Well, Goku and Vegeta haven't been training with Whis for quite some time now. For powerful warriors like them, just training on their own makes them get out of shape.

It's like if a powerlifter who trains with very high weights suddenly stops and starts training with low weights for 9+ months. He obviously needs quite some time to get used to the heavy weights he once lifted.

When he released full Gohan's potential, he didn't know that god ki would have raised his power a lot more so maybe he'll be able to unlock Gohan SSj Blue if he does his ceremony with injecting some of his god ki in Gohan's body

It would so totally find it's way in super sooner or later..

But as of now, old kai isn't helping, no chance. We might get some gohan training, at most goku could train gohan but don't count on it, if they intended for that to happen, they wouldn't waste the latest episode with ChiChi stopping them

I have a feeling this is what will happen, it would explain Goku being out of shape, Bulma being at the end of her pregnancy and maybe have Goten grow up since they've been teasing us with it.

A time skip is coming sooner or later, they foreshadowed it with ChiChi saying goten us grwon uo now, but using it for a reason like this will be odd..
The time skip should be for eoz instead
