No they don't release dvd's of any anime here in India (don't know about other regions), does toonami exclusive dubs (OPM,HxH and many others) ever get blu-ray or dvd releases?
Over in the U.S? If so yeah they do, HxH for example started in April I think and the first set of episode were available in October to buy on home video. Unfortunately the release schedule between when a show airs and when it gets released on home video seems random for every show for eg OPM finished ages ago but a home video release hasn't been listed yet as far as I am aware.
Then i think this might get dvd release soon too, seriously the regions which dbs dub airing current won't even generate 10% of view which US alone gets!!! I don't think that would be enough to make profit out after producing it... So i thought they might release home video!!!
Toei seems content with just airing Super on tv and FUNi are the only company/country that have confirmed home video for Super outside of Japan. But the question is who would distribute Super in Asia anyway? As far as I am aware Happinet distribute it in Japan, FUNi will distribute it in North America, Madman will more than likely distribute it in Australia, Kazé will more than likely distribute in Europe and MangaUK will more than likely distribute in the UK. Is there anyone like that in Asia?

Also Chase played Blood in JLD? Awesome!

The direction in this dub still sounds awkward and stilted just from listening to Krillin. Honestly with a better director, this dub would go from sounding like a mess to actually being a competent take on the show. Ajay is right too, Beerus' actor has very little range

I don't think they would release it in asia but if they manage to air it in other regions like europe there is a possibility of home release right?

Yeah, my Usual Source® of BZ DBS audio is clearly missing a chunk out of it, as I told him over on A Certain Website® from which I generally acquire it.

Honestly, at this point, an Ocean dub of Super doesn't sound too bad

Possibly but since currently no country in Europe is airing the dub it's hard to really say, Toei are more than likely gonna give MangaUK the FUNi dub. I have hunch that BZ are just recording an edited dub anyway like Ocean dub from Cell arc onwards I doubt we'll see an official release of this dub.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 3 Notes:

Script- To quote the great Echoes Act 3, "S-H-I-T". This translation team is too literal, and they need to learn to use commas. In fact, while I still don't think Lex is the right choice after hearing him today, I'd like to apologize that THIS is what script he was given. This does not mean I take back my critiques, they still stand.

Narrator- Trunks, get out of the booth.

Kaio- It's grown on me, a lot. It gives King Kai a weight and a seriousness he didn't have with Sean.

Beerus- He sounds like a happy King Vegeta, and not like an overlord. I do think if this guy gets to understand the character the voice itself could be servicable.

The Supreme Kai and Elder Kai- Who the HELL wrote the script for them? I bet you if there was a decent script, they wouldn't sound like they were in Girl-Chan in paradise. Their lines are so long and badly written I feel it would be unkind to base their performances off what I heard here.

Goku- He gets the character, I've said this time and time again, but his voice is too low for my tastes, and his yells are waaaaaay too held back. Although, Lex, if Sonic ever needs a new actor, I totally think you should go for it (don't take that as an insult, I'm dead serious!).

Oracle Fish- I don't like it. The voice itself just doesn't fit. Sorry, I can't figure out why.

Whis- Servícable.

Krillin- He fits, but he needs time to develop. Much like with Kaiji Tang, they need to use more pitches, so as to emphasize their emotions. He could give Sonny a run for his money, though.

Yamcha- All I can think of is the original DBZA voice for Yamcha. Very surfer dude.

Android 18- I have no complaints, I love it.

Gohan- He's servicable, but I'm not sure if he's as good as fit as Kyle Hebert.

Bulma- She rocks.

Piccolo- The fact he made me chuckle at that joke is a sign of a good actor. Out of all 3 times I've heard or read that Joke, this is the only one where Piccolo's reaction sold it enough for me.

Vegeta- I have so much confidence in Kaiji Tang. One episode later he's already improved so much? Sabat, you have a rival.

Preview- "I'm actually getting the chills." See, this is what I mean by too literal.

I mean, to each their own, but I think he sounds a lot like Roger Craig Smith, and could totally pull it off.

Beerus is terrible, God. Vegeta and Goku have gotten much better, though.

Not going to happen since Ocean haven't dubbed The Final Chapters, much less aired their Kai 1.0 dub to even make any return on their investment.

That's pretty much my main problem with it. I already dislike Roger's take quite a bit. To each their own though.

Some notes from Episode 3:
- Man, Beerus gets worse with every new episode. His VA has zero range.
- Whis has the same problem as Beerus. Lack of any real range. It was very prominent in this episode.
- Elder Kai is horrible to listen to.
- Kibito Kaioshin is really not fitting. Like, at all.
- I'm really growing on King Kai
- As others have mention, the script is way too literal. So much so it affects the direction of the dub
- Lex Lang sounds a little better than the previous episode, but he still sounds so damn tame. I fear that the scenes with Goku powering up and yelling are going fall extremely flat if Lex Lang isn't given more freedom with the style of his voicing.
- The Oracle Fish sounds decent.
- I'm still a bit conflicted on Krillin. It fits the character kinda well.
- Android 18 sounds really good. Like... really good.
- Wendee Lee continues to steal the show as Bulma.
- Yamcha is bad. Way too "surfer dude/1999 FUNi dub" for my liking.
- Roshi, Majin Boo and Mr Satan still suck.
- Piccolo sounds quite wonderful.. as an imitation of Sabat. I mean... c'mon man. Take you own interpretation of Piccolo don't just hearken back to Sabat's unrefined performances of yesteryear and try to duplicate them.
- Gohan is still quite damn good.
- Vegeta is still 1999 Sabat lite. Not good at all.

Ajay wrote:I doubt we'll ever see a home release of this dub, but I really hope it gets one since these cappers are totally incompetent. There's a lot of potential here to create an 'ultimate dub'. I don't want another Westwood situation where I'm forced to relive it through TV captures forever.
I definitely don't understand where this "capper are totally incompetent" stuff is coming from. Do you know how uncommon it is for people to have Toonami Asia HD over there? The fact that we're getting this show at all, thanks to them, is a blessing. So unless you yourself are willing to go to Asia, subscribe to Toonami Asia HD, and have the proper equipment to record and encode it, appreciate what you're getting. As for DVDs/Blu-rays, don't count on it. There is no chance in HFIL that this dub will ever be released on DVD there, let alone the world. Very few dubs of this kind have had physical releases in the past, nowadays it's just unheard of.
