Question. Is VIZ's translation somewhat accurate with the whole soup name thing? Does it sound similar to Super Saiyan God in japanese too? Manga Stream's translation doesnt have that

In the original version, the alien says something like "soup yasai jinkot-to (vegetable soup)" & Beerus mishears it as "soup yasai jin-goddo". The pun is based on "Supa Saiya-jin Goddo" so Viz did well in its adaption.

It's the same motive for "Supa" instead of "Chou". Super Saiyan God simply uses English approximation in its original diction. Think of, I don't know, saying "Señor" instead of "Mister" in casual English conversation. You're using foreign language for the fun of it.

I'd argue that he isn't, but it's pretty much unprovable one way or the other. He's probably just comfortable how he is.

I'd recommend P22 Komusubi or Kurosawa Japanese.

Goku black in the manga is only main villain who never kill anyone on-screen which is sad to hear I'm hoping he kill Mai or someone

It's entertaining to see the dub only watchers reacting to what we did all that time ago (the retellings). It's like using a time machine to go to the past.

Actually why are the first fifteen episodes of GT considered to be so infamously bad? I just need to know what's the beef with those 15 episodes before I step into the grand tour.
