But hit is to op man and What about Gohan cabba piccolo Buu botamo and Maggie they could fill that role better than yamcha Goten and trunks

Hit is nothing infornt of a god of destruction forget an angel..
And that mystery fighter will be for some reason berrus tire..
This tournament can very easily turn into a giant mess.. at least they can try to help

So many things wrong with this statement.

1. They could still at least attempt to help even if they don't help much.

2. It could be a Rof situation where they'res an army of enemies.

3. You say all these guys are in reserve, but what if they're the ones interrupting the tournament ?

With the way Toriyama is so hesitant about them surpassing Beerus, I wouldn't be so sure. At this moment, we know nothing about the arc. Goten and Trunks might still have something to do.

Which...actually has pretty much no information. Really just about Gokuu remembering the tournament, him going to talk to Omni-King about it, and the revelation of something "astonishing" (which, I'm pretty sure, refers to losing universes being destroyed).

In other news of things that don't tell us anything we didn't already know, there's also the summary for 77 on FujiTV's site:

Time continues to pass peacefully, and Gokuu feels his skills have grown rusty. He visits Beerus' planet to train, and while there remembers Omni-King's promise of holding a tournament.

I guess as the weeks go on and more of the usual TV listings come out we'll see if they're planning to keep a pretty tight lid on spoilers (other than the basic things about the setup that we already know). It was pretty exciting to watch the last arc not knowing much about what would be happening in upcoming episodes, so I kinda hope they'll be vague for this arc too so we can be surprised!

Doesn't really confirm much actually, we've had multiple episode descriptions that were mostly content from the episode before it and we already know Goku goes to see Zeno in 77 so them not telling us anything more doesn't really tell us anything in terms of the pace of the beginning of the arc.
I'm still sure the tournament won't start until episode 81 though.

I'd like something akin to the 22nd Tenka'ichi Budokai ending with Kuririn laying dead and leaving us with a sting of rising tension.

That being said, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen... I've just noticed a pattern of "OH MAN THIS THING, THIS GUY - IT'S HAPPENING AND it happened and now we're peacefully enjoying life until the neXT BIG THING HAPPENS-" it's a bit stop and go for being only 76+ episodes in. Thoughts?

Yeah, I imagine something like that will happen. Everyone is fighting in the tournament and somehow the clown GOD and the mysterious cloaked figured next to him in the trailer will be reveled to be the bad guys, who will in someway set up the next arc.

I really want to see Beerus & Champa in action.We only saw them fight seriously once and that was in the manga only.Really hope they will fight the clown Hakaishin if he is revealed to be a villain while Goku & the others fight the mysterious cloaked guy.
