Not having Piccolo or Gohan in the poster worries me. It's probably a sign that those 2 won't do anything meaningful in this arc.....sigh

Gohan is going to be fine, Piccolo on the other hand seems more like a minor character and most likely be used as tool hype for U9.

Krillin beat his inner demons last week, saved Goku from fake Zarama, and he also gained a powerup in the process.

Gohan won against Tagoma/Ginyu (ROF Super) and Shisami (ROF Movie). Both were Freeza's strongest henchmen.

I think the uni 9 match people are referring to as a warm-up has much more possibility of being a qualifier. If only half of the teams made it to the tourney it'd be a lot easier on the staff. All the gods are at the tourney which would be a little odd but I think half of them will be spectators.

I think the characters who have done nothing in the last few episodes will be the big players in the tournament. Vegeta, Piccolo, Buu and Tien.

And a well deserved one. Freeza final form should be the one to do it and then Goku would take it from there.

17 should be a fairly good treatment, otherwise why bother to bring him back?

17 would definitely play a decently good role that's true. It would be cool to see him and Piccolo tag team in a fight in the tournament as they did have a great fight back in Z.

eh, since goku visits omni king next episode , omni king tells him he have to fight universe 9 and gives him time to recruite ppl?
why you automaticly assume it will be in that episode?

But the preview says Goku is recruiting for 2 allies, if he had 8 people recruited already he would use 2 of them, logically speaking.

That's assuming the battle will be 3 vs 3. The preview description might just mean that Goku already had a 8 man team and only is missing two to complete it, which is why he needs to recruit two allies.

Piccolo can't be used as a hype tool. He is an underdog. You can't be both.

There should be various different team battles based on that magazine section. 17 and Piccolo would seem very likely. I also want to see Piccolo and Vegeta team up since they both take no shit and would probably annihilate whoever they face.

Piccolo can't be used as a hype tool. He is an underdog. You can't be both.

It is Vegeta's job to show the audience how strong someone else is. Piccolo usually has a good chance of beating someone when he fights.

About Fem Broly I wonder what will she do in the show.

I think she is Cabbas sister because he got triggered when Vegeta told him he was going to kill his family(when he was provoking him so he could turn SSJ). Toriyama might make her shipping material and who knows maybe she will end up with Frost? It cant be any weirder than Mai and Trunks right?
