I really don't see Kitano in there like you two do.

It's the hair and ears. Kitano always draws that one spike on Goku's hair really skinny and awkward-looking. The ear-placement and size are also really high and tiny on both, and Whis looks like Kitano's Whis.
Image
Again, the rotation doesn't make much sense, but there are definitely Kitano traits in there. I want to be wrong, though!

Fair enough, maybe I'm just too used to Kitano's weird look and that shot looks more polished than a lot of what we've seen from him recently.
If it is Kitano I guess this might be why his role on 74 wasn't too big.
Newtype should leak just a few days after 77, correct? I really want to see the staff listings for the next few episodes.

If this is Kitano then this Goku is the most polished thing he ever produced. We never actually saw "Kitano with time" producing something but to tell the truth it would be great if he was actually a good animator. Till now all his work on super could be considered either bad or awful. I literally seek a moment were his uncorrected work shines but still nothing.

His main issue is that he seem unable to position hair, eyes, mouths, ears to the correct places. All his characters look akward and off model 24/7. Heck even in episodes that he does nothing and only draws background characters, these characters look weird.

Another thing about him is that his characters have slim waists, their upper buddy is way smaller compare to their legs and the hair don't move and feel like glued.

His Goku here looks plain but presentable. Already some people are arguing about his "MC Hammer pants" but personally I have no issue. Still pretty sure that his work will be corrected by Shuji

His episode 7 art was rather polished and most of his episodes he usually gets at least one or two good looking drawings in.

Anyone got that Kitano's Black Goku? It looked gorgeous.
Where Black set the town on fire and reflecting to his cheeks.

Call me crazy but I remember episode 7 been heavily corrected. The moment when gotenks attacks in the episode, the art goes 10/10 and in the in between I remember seen crazy Kitano eyes.

But yes Beerus arc's art was superior compare to some of the stuff we see later. I was very impressed how good it looked even when the animation was limited, compare to episodes....24-26 when I rewatched it

Even my roughest drawings are better than Kitano's . I think they're forcing this guy to work much faster than others :( that's why it suffers.
Feel free to correct me if I say something wrong.

After Otsuka teasing that he was working on a 'certain opening' a few weeks back, he's just now confirmed it was indeed Super's.

I hope Otsuka shows up more than once this arc.

Can someone tell me who drew Goku for these stills? ~ The art resembles Goku at his best.

Something is weird here. Judging by this pic, it seems like the episodes are being produced with the traditional DBS color palette and then being completely changed in the last minute. Can someone tell me if that is a bad or good sign.

Dont get me wrong, i love the new color palette, but i don't like that it's being added at the last minute.

There is no new color palette, it's just a post processing filter.

It's post processing and it is a good thing, means there is more time for post production
