Availability of the Dragonball movies

Post by Thanos6 » Mon Jun 18, 2007 2:41 pm

By which I mean, Blood Rubies, Devil's Castle, Mystical Adventure, and Path to Power.

Are there any DVDs of these with both the English and Japanese versions on them? I can't really seem to track any down, but it'd surprise me to learn they don't exist...I would just order the movie Dragon Box, but I'd like subtitles.

There's a box set containing movies 2, 3, and 4 on DVD bilingual. Movie 1 has yet to be released uncut with the japanese track.

Probably ain't gonna happen. Blood Rubies is in the same boat as the first thirteen episodes of DB are in.

You have GOT to be KIDDING me. I thought they'd worked that mess out by now! How long is it going to TAKE before they get the rights back?

You can also get the it (the Movie 2-4 Box) online or at B&M stores like Best Buy for $20, which is a friggin' steal!

Sadly, it looks like we won't get Movie 1 or DB eps. 1-13 uncut until FUNi does some sort of "remastered" release.

Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

OK, so it's likely we'd have to wait through all of DBZ, at which point it's basically a coinflip if they did DB or GT first.

Damned if I know where all the movies and the two specials would fit in, or the possible "OVA" dub Dayspring mentions elsewhere.

So even though I do buy the "remasters" (yes, I know, I'm a heretic) that's still a hell of a wait.
