Not necessarily, Watanabe worked on the first Super opening and also on the new ed, but I don't think he did any other key animation for the series.Lujin_16 wrote:So the animators who worked in the new opening are on board in this arc???

So who exactly is the series director again? Sorry but thus is so confusing
Feel free to correct me if I say something wrong.
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 76
Those videos always look like crap, but people for whatever reason think that it looks good and "like Z." If they used the Dragon Boxes as inspiration for their "90's DBZ style" videos, they would look much better. But I doubt they have the talent to make it look like that.Hit!! wrote:The filter really reminds me of those "DBS with 90's DBZ colors" youtube videos. And i hate them, i don't care how much the fandom loves it, i just can't get used to it.MajinMan wrote:The new filter they have actually hurts my eyes a little. Everything is way too bright. When they went to the Kaioshin Realm, it got even worse, and it felt like I was watching the Orange Bricks. If this is the new look of the show from now on, then color me disappointed. I hope they tone it down for future episodes.
It looks really good at some shots, but most of the time it looks really cheap, especially when they went to the Kaioshin Realm, as you say.

Because of the ED designs were so simple. I bet three of them was like "Why not?". But, Watanabe's scene looked so chill as hell. Really liked how Goku show his aura.
I'm bad at English and still learning. If there's anything wrong, please correct me.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 76
I personally thought that Watanabe's cut was a little lackluster in comparison to the two by Sachi. My all time favourite from this ED would have to be the cut in which Beerus and Champa bicker before being interrupted by Zeno, the character acting in it is definitely the best Super has had. I think its also worth noting that the colour palette and designs are better here than they are in the actual show.Gashif Aldi wrote:Because of the ED designs were so simple. The new opening is really a improvement in quality you can see many fighting scenes i feel like it is a good sign that we had 2 months of
filler episodes and they changed the hoodie guy really fast and of course the ending with animation...

Nagamine the guy who directed one price film z ? That guy's pretty cool right? And Ryouta is the guy who storyboarded 75 ,so if things are stable from here then that's good for the show's quality right?

Btw, who directed episode 6 and episode 22??
They were both some of the best directed episodes in the series.
22 was so well directed, that i almost forgot about the bad animation.

To be honest, I think the fandom would tear itself apart if we had designs as good as the ones in those movies.Ajay wrote:Sushio (character designer for Kill la Kill, One Piece Movie 6 etc.) posted some Dragon Ball fan art earlier:

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 76
I don't think they would, we've already had great designs in the past, that far surpass anything I've seen from Kill la Kill and One Piece Movie 6.JazzMazz wrote:To be honest, I think the fandom would tear itself apart if we had designs as good as the ones in those movies.Ajay wrote:Sushio (character designer for Kill la Kill, One Piece Movie 6 etc.) posted some Dragon Ball fan art earlier:

Speaking of Shushio, I´d like to see how Dragon Ball would look like with Imaishi supervising.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Sushio as character designer is a dream that is too good to be true. But, I agree that the Imaishi crew and Sushio style would make the fanbase mad. Hell, they can't even handle Tate. I certainly wouldn't complain though. It would be amazing.
