Krillin's nose

In volume three of the manga, Goku and Krillin are in the 21 or 22 Budokai, I don't remember, but Goku tells Krillin that he has no nose so it doesn't matter if the guy fart on him, but in volume four of the manga, Krillin is fighting Jackie Chun, and when they were explaining what happend in the match, Krillin said the "He snorted boogers at Jackie Chuns fist". I don get it, no nose but you have boogers? What do you think?

Maybe he has very small nostrils but no actual nose? I dont know. This question comes up a lot.

Seriously though, he actually hacked up phlegm (from his throat) on Choun, as you can see in their mini-reenactment and by the sound effect. I wonder why Viz changed it to something that doesn't make any sense.

Fun fact: the reason Marron has a nose in the 28th budokai but not during the 25th budokai is because, according to the daizenshuu, it doesn't grow in until puberty.

To hell with Tenshinhan, clearly Krillin's the alien.

..Sooo, Kuririn's never gone through puberty..? Oh dear..

That puts an interesting spin on things... XDDD Kuririn's obviously a special case.

Would explain why he's so damned short.

Maybe #18's genes took over when Marron hit puberty.

I am now officially freaked out. Krillin's short because he's a kid, Marron didn't grow her nose till she reached puberty, and now, Krillin's the ALIEN.

Obviously the puberty thing only applies to Marron, not to Krillin or Piccolo.

Definately not Piccolo. Just look at him, drinking his beer. I mean WTF?! What does he want?!

True that! Or maybe they just didn't want a teenage chick with no nose... I don't know... (That explanation doesn't make any sense at all!)

My question is: why aren't any of the characters who don't have noses (Kuririn, Chaozu, etc.), drawn/animated with their mouths open all the time... since no nose = no breathing through their nose... which means they'd have to breathe through their mouths... Uuh, yes? XDD

(Clearly, one of the greatest mysteries in the DB'verse.)

Okay, let's be serious.

Krillin hit puberty as far as I know. Just look as he actually got taller (even midgets grow) and how his musculature got built up, just like the musculature of an adult. Then he was able to make Android 18 pregnant, which means that he has sperms, right?

If you "cross" people their offspring share the DNA from both the parents. Marron got the "no nose" gene, but at puberty it switched to her mother´s genes which made her to grow a nose.

Maybe this is what happened? Quite bizzarre.

So lets say if my dad had no nose, then I won't get a nose until i hit puberty...thats wierd.

I believe he meant it was just a gag like Goku telling Kurrin that he has no nose. Nothing to be taken so heavily or to be overly examined.
