Obvious, or assumed? That's rhetorical, assumed is obviously the right answer, and the EoZ is vague enough that it all works just fine. Although you are right in that we will need to go past the ending sooner rather than later. Even if they disregard Bulma's "5 years" line (which wouldn't be a big deal, to be honest), they could only go another another few arcs before we won't be able to suspend our disbelief anymore. Fortunately, they're intentionally giving us the sense that time is progressing now that Bra is about to be born, so eventually, we will most likely get past EoZ regardless.

I really hope, but my sences tell me that the fact these arcs are so close in time could mean tthey don't have to pass through EoZ, and end the anime... I really hope that won't be the case... I don't really believe that anyone would be satisfied with a series which is already known how will end.

We know that this is a universe survival arc so what if... because Goku and the omniking are friends, the omniking agrees to just reset time prior to Goku meeting Beerus, preventing any of the events in Super from happening.

I'm surprised that it always seems that people have select memory when it comes to remembering Resurrection Of F. If Beerus doesn't come to earth than Freeza simply just kills all of them. GT and Super cannot coexist even with Beerus not visiting earth.

Except it is outright stated that when you lose your universe is erased. Would make an interesting fan fiction, but it's absolutely not true to think that.

We just had Chichi in the last episode saying that it wasn't time for warriors anymore and Goku talking about being rusty. Vague references to peace are, well, vague, and don't mean much.

I've written about this many times, even before the omniking, (With the power to destroy universes) was known about.
My hypothesis is that Goku and Vegeta will have grown too strong from having God ki and some force will reset the timeline to prior to Beerus coming in contact with Goku.

By now it should be pretty clear Zen'o can't do that, otherwise he wouldn't have destroyed Trunks' timeline entirely to get rid of Zamasu.

It's pretty clear Zen'o can't do that, otherwise he wouldn't have destroyed Trunks' timeline entirely to get rid of Zamasu.

That aside, i can't believe someone is actually stupid enough to think higher ups care about GT enough to "erase" all of Super/new movies because of an old spin-off that was a failure. Seriously. Especially when the new material has been greatly successful AND they have the creator's hand, unlike the spin-off. It's such absurd wishful thinking.

^ hey guess we will find out soon enough. I've been saying Supers power scaling and fan service we're out of control since the Champa arc and that the LSSJ form would appear in Super despite everyone claiming I was stupid for thinking Toriyama cared about Broly... so far I'm VERY happy with my track record and looking forward to fem-Broly and other predictions I've made. Also will be enjoying salty tears as I did with the fembroly crowd.

And by fixed I mean, will it flow over into GT or will there be a complete new series?
