I heard that Dragonball is going to air on Cartoon Network on July 21. Any one else hear about this?

I haven't heard, but I can only hope it's at a time that isn't 7pm on Saturdays.

CN picked the worst possible time of day/week to air dbz. I am rarely ever at home at that time on that day. :(

Personally I adored the midnight dbz they used to have before it. The episodes aired at 12am or 12:30am friday nights.
On hiatus.

It would really suck if they tried to push it on Toonami like what they're doing with Z. It needs to be on daily. I can take the Naruto and Bleach once a week, but what they're doing to Dragonball is really killing me. Thats why I'm excited about the Season sets. As horrid as people say they are, at least FUNi would have the entire series released by the time Cartoon Network gets half way done.

I couldn't agree more. CN was foolish to do that, and as a result, no one is watching it.

On the other note, I have a feeling that CN is going to start Dragon Ball Z at season 1 starting next fall. Sad thing is, FUNi will probably air the broadcast soundtrack with their new composer.

I have a sinking feeling that, sometime next year, or later this year, they're gonna start showing the start of the Remastered series. But uncut, like they did with the UUE episodes.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I'd like to be able to see any Dragon Ball/Z/GT on CN UK. CN has really been sucking lately. First they canned CNX, now Toonami. Luckily I still have most of the dub on VHS.

They don't show Dragonball EVER in the UK anymore. At one point it was Cartoon Network's flagship show

Yeah I hate what they have turned Toonami into.
They replaced it with that stupid Miguzi crap.

They ended Miguzi to show their new (and imo lame) original cartoons recently. And though I miss the old days too, I also think Toonami on weekdays would have showed the new TVPG rated shows with TVY7 versions and greatly edited.

They ENDED Miguzi?
Ah well, I never watched that anyway. I miss old Weekday Toonami sorely but you gotta move on. TT_TT

Oh! And how about SVES? Anyone remember that saturday block?

I hope they put it on Jetstream.

I would love to see Dragonball on CN. I can see it now.
In the fall we'd have
Naruto @9
Dragonball@9:30(I hate the Fantastic Four Cartoon)
Bobobo@10
Funi One Piece@10:30
Rocketman(In response to a post about Pandora's Box) wrote: I sat here for ten damn minutes wondering what the hell God of War had to do with any of this.

How often is DBZ on CN anyway? I see it on every now and then but I always figured it to just be filler after a movie ends at a weird time or something.

Seeing DB or Z back on would be awesome.

I think its supposed to be a permanent stay for the time being. Although, recently Toonami's been pre-empting a lot of they're programing lately. I just wish they would bring back Zatch Bell already and we could finally get some new Inuyasha.

Do they show them canonically?

I feel the same about Zatch Bell. Though Inuyasha's final episode aired some months back.
