I keep hearing word that they're going to add someone named "Fasha" to Dragon Ball Sparking Meteor. Ummm, who?

It's FUNimation's name for Seripa, the female member of Bardock's team (as noted above). I'm with ya'... I never have a clue who these people are talking about when they whip out the dub names

Why'd they change her name? It's perfectly fine.

A "Fasha" isn't a vegetable! There's a rule about saiyan names people. Stick to it!
Man... the dub infuriates me sometimes.

Oh and if SERIPA is actually going to be in DB SM, that'd be super sweet.

Possible. Their constant closeness could explain how she was Goku's mother.

Hi, new girl here.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hinted at or flat out stated she was Goku's mom...after all they retconned in the last BT that Sauzaa was a member of Jeice's race.

Also on the note of the last BT... anyone notice when Zangya beats Krillin in dueling, she sings a lyric of that song, 'Dontcha' (Pussycat Dolls)? Sorry if it was already mentioned.

It wasn't mentioned at all in the dub of the Bardock special, so it's unlikely they'll try that.

Much as I get irritated by fanboys/girls going around saying that Seripa is Goku's mother, she's not. There are many reasons for that. For one, one of the Daizenshuu(?) has a family tree and she isn't connected to either Bardock nor Goku. Also, she wouldn't immediately have been sent to Kanassa after giving birth to Goku. She wouldn't have been present at all. She would've hinted something to Bardock when they were on Kanassa (How about visiting our son?), but she doesn't. If she was Bardock's mate at all, he would've been more upset over her death like he was over Toma's.

I'm more of the fangirl that says her and Toma should be together. If you've seen the special, their dead bodies after Bardock was attacked by Dodoria were together.

I agree. I also noticed how their bodies were together at the time, but dismissed it as a fangirlish thought.

Yeah, a modified version of it: "Don' cha wish your girlfriend was tough like me, don' cha." Thought that was hilarious first time I heard it. They slipped a pop culture refrence in with someone else too, I think. Maybe it was Jeice, I can't remember....

I don't remember what was played as far as the music. I know it wasn't Solid State Scouter.

I think the whole thing with Bardock's "novía" being the mother of Goku is sort of a kind of "trying to make a reason" throwup reason. I mean who would Bardock be with most of the time? If she is on his crew that can be read into to mean that they probably did it and that's that. I might have been talking out my ass that last post. Ignore what I said and it's probably not true. Bardock probably screwed some girl in one of the bars on some planet like Planet Vegetasei or some other one.

Anyway, it's unlikely that Seripa is Kakarot's mother First because it's never stated by anyone and second, it was mentioned that Kakarot was born the day before the special took place, and even if you're a Saiyan, giving birth is really exhausting. So if Seripa was the mother, she shouldn't be able to go on missions.
