Well thanks for letting us use your facilities! That is very generous of you.

Adobe Premiere, you say? Okay, I need you to help me with the music.
Yes, but I'd probably use Vegas 6.0 over Premiere since it is what I usually use. The rendering out should all be the same, so we wouldn't have any problems. But if you need help in Premiere, I could lend a hand. Also, the music in this dub is going to be strictly Shunsuke Kikuchi BGM, right?

Hardly. We're trying to make this dub more... erm... 'personalised'.

Meaning? I don't mind what you guys do as long as you don't use any Bruce Faulconer tracks or anything like that.

Singer, actor, chiropractor!

I do think we should at least use as much Kikuchi BGM as we can within reason. I have a great deal I can send your way if you don't have any, Steven. Or to Rick, who ever is actually in charge of the BGM. Let's not over-"personalise" this. I mean we are trying to be as true to the Japanese version as we can, so with that in mind and the fact we have no access to an "international track", we should at least insert some certain Kikuchi pieces. I don't mind using original "new" music for certain parts of the fandub, but let's not stray too far with that aspect of this project.

Just posting to say a few things, one of which is that the FTP information and people's IPs shouldn't be "out in the open" like this; it's too easy to find and FTP really isn't that secure to begin with. Not to mention the fact that IP's can be spoofed, and although any potential "hacker" would only find access to part of a DBZ DVD, I really can't run the risk of intrusion onto my computer.
So Kaboom, if you could edit out that info, and give it out to only those who need it, that would be great. (I may change it, just as a precaution, so expect to hear from me). Also, for the editors, etc: from now on, please PM me with your IPs to get authenticated. It may seem a little unnecessary, but after studying Information Security one begins to realize its importance in any set-up. Thanks for the cooperation.
Okay. Edited. My bad; If you do change the data, let me know.
Also, as for the music, yes, since the script and just about everything else is staying so faitful to the original japanese, we decided the BGM was one area where we'd get a little more creative and original. Steven Perry's been doing a lot with that; you can see some of his test videos on YouTube.

Very nice, omega. I won't say too much about the Vegeta one, but the Goku is spot-on.
What voice recording program are you using? Have you downloaded Audacity or SoundBooth?

audacity. I have been using it since day 1, well, pretty much.
And thanks for liking it. I had to practice a lot to not sound like a tard.

[j/k]I'm almost offended Omega's getting such good props for his vid[/j/k], whereas anyone whom reviews my practice vid manages to find some type of way to criticize it. Guess that's to be expected since he's the big pick for Goku. *Conan does Oozaru rawr in honor of Omega's greatness*

Arcwave, I managed to include you in the credits of promotional poster 1:
(It's at the bottom, under 'Audio Syncer'.) So, there's the final version folks!

Hey Stevey, about how far (in minutes and seconds, if you can) is the scenery shot you wanted? I'm having trouble finding it.

I see Kino's been upgraded from Creative Consultant to Co-Writer, though I'm confused why others are credited as such. Didn't only Kaboom and Mr. A./Shinpan write it, while Kino combines the two for the final draft? Not trying to be nit-pickey, but let's be honest to those viewing these posters.
Also, what's up with this scenery thing? For a new poster?

In addition to combining, Kino's adding some touches of her own, as well. Seems to merit the "co-writer" status.

Steven needs a higher-quality version of the background for his Oozaru poster.

Didn't Eclipse do some scriptwriting?

I don't think Undercooked Sausage did anything, so I may have to delete it.

Yeah, for the 'Apocalypse' poster. It's gonna be awesome (I hope).

Eclipse started, and I took over his version about a page or two in.
Undercooked Sausage (
hee hee hee... funny name...), um... has he done anything? Is he VAing? I don't know/remember...

Really? It didn't pan or anything...
EDIT: Do I have the right spot? It's that shot for a few seconds RIGHT at the 43-minute mark, then it cuts to a shot of the pink, dry, earth.
