I actually think Rock music and DB from Z onwards do go well together...

And apparently, Toriyama does too. Enough to be inspired from the Freeza song by Maximum Hormone to make RoF and even put in the movie.

A few things.

I don't enjoy the idea of going and watching the original 12(13?) Dragon Ball Movies as I watched Coola's revenge, besides the voices being off and Falconer the sounds just felt old and cheap.

The GT English dub is the worst thing I've ever watched. I think I only ever managed to watch six minutes of the first episode before I bailed.

I remember hearing the perfect voice of Schean Schemmel, so Funimation and I never heard any obnoxious 80'S music so without the Menza replacement score and it was the actual first episode,you know Uub, Goku battling in Kami's place.

That's it. It's the best Z one since it uses that style of fighting with the big energy blasts, trasformations and such better than most actual Z fanimations.

"Nazo" was originally just a form of Super Sonic the Sonic X show wanted to introduce but they scrapped the idea and went for the classic golden look instead.

And yeah, I know about the concept of Nazo. Though I don't know why they'd want to give him a different form in the first place, I mean, marketing-wise wasn't Super Sonic iconic by the point the show was made?

DB Online timeline is as bad if not worse alternative to post-DBZ events than GT. It reads like a neverending list convinient & forced excuses to suit the gameplay demands of an MMO game. Lack of multiple iconic races living on Earth for players to pick from? Namekians relocate for some silly reason, Buu makes himself a girlfriend and reproduces en masse (I mean... just...) Lack of martial arts schools to serve as class archetypes? Everyone and their mothers from the original DB cast opens one. Freeza's army returns and wrecks havok. Talk about the least imaginative idea for a DB villain ever.

Time Patrol Trunks/Mira etc is the only thing that doesn't feel forced and unplausible. Rest should just fall into dark corners of the franchise history.

Hopefully whatever future post-EOZ Dragon Ball franchise gets created will mostly disregard both GT and DBO and only pick the best stuff to reincorporate if necessary

Objectively, it's pretty lame. But it makes for such a fun world with so many opportunities that I don't mind. While I actually like GT, the ending did the exact opposite. It essentially closed off any future that the series could have branching off from that conclusion.
