I'm assuming when we get to the tourny it won''t be 10 vs 10 but more like 3 vs 3 or 5 vs 5. Probably an A team and a B team. If all the saiyans and 17 are on the same team, it's an A team and a Job squad.

It won't be like this, it will probably be a format where every team selects so many fighters or each match. The team will probably be change throughout.

It'll probably be around 3 or more, the tag team is probably an excuse to get through all twelve universe fights quicker.

I wouldn't mind that. Team battle are good change of pace.

Crazy thought though. What if the preliminary matches, or even worse the 10 fighters are Toei originals to pad the arc ? What if the manga version only has Goku and Vegeta as fighters ? The fanbase would go wild.

that seems highly unlikely,but it would be hilarious on how the fandom will react and that just prove that toriyama don't give a damn about cast usage

but what make you think that the preliminary match or the 10 fighters are Toei edition and not toriyama

Confirms that the dudes in the red and black spandex are super heroes, nice. Also I think it says Lavenda changes his abilities based on the enemy's technique, so I guess that is actually Beragmo's ability since they seem to have gotten them backwards.
Lavenda's description even says his name is Bergamo... lol.

Toei's URLs are never good to base things on, they constantly use misspellings and bad translations.

Yes, Lavenda's Bio even says his name is Bergamo.
Lavenda has poison powers, Bergamo can copy abilites.
