Hey as long as he has w's than l's this tournament i could care less.

I'd rather Gohan get a top tier neck and neck match with a strong guy and lose than beat some punk ass weaklings. Just like Vegeta stomping those 3 weaklings in u6 meant nothing in terms of impressiveness, and Goku losing to hit still made Goku look way better than Vegeta. I don't doubt Gohan will win against one of the three big dogs, but sometimes L's are more respectable than W's.

What do you mean by 'three big dogs'? There will surely be mamy powerful guys so Universe 7 has a a consistent challenge throughout the whole tournament.

I mean the buff alien and his two confirmed crew mates. I think they'll be the 3 strongest. I'm sure they'll be other strong guys but probably a good deal weaker than those 3.

I guess I'm the only gohan fan who likes his design this arc he looks more masculine the bang's lame it makes him look like his chasing after that ssj2 moment from cell games like most of his fans

I've always been neutral about Gohan's designs (except Bojack movie). But I'm really digging the bang-less look too! He somehow looks more mature?

What's your opinion on Gohan's Bojack Movie hair? Sorry if I haven't seen what you may've said, I'm new here

It's Gohan best design right up there with his beginning of boo arc design ( when he's starting school and stopped those bank robbers)

Gohan fans are the most unloyal. In Japan apparently he was their favourite character when he was the strongest and beat Cell but when he lost this status in the Buu arc he went below Piccolo who had no fight.

These quotes are making it hard to see who's saying what But it's funny how he doesn't mention Gohan raises up to third place afterwards even though he gets even weaker in GT. Gohan has one of the most loyal fanbases. We're considered annoying in the fanbase BECAUSE we won't give up on him.

I'm just saying you can't just like Gohan again just cause he's not weak anymore(though at this point the power he had against Super Buu is fodder level). It makes you look like a bandwagoner.

Except people have consistently liked him regardless. He was still ranking high on popularity charts on reddit even after rof and in between now. People are happy with Gohan right now because he's becoming a fighter again, and his fighting moments are what made him popular in the first place. It isn't solely strength. If he was as strong as Whis, but in the background like he's been until now then people would still be angry.

The perfect files say that but he's suddenly weaker than Goku in base form? That doesn't make a bit of sense if Goku is only supposed to be ssj3 level in base. Let's say he did get stronger, he was far from the strongest yet he was still popular. It's unfair to say he has unloyal fans.

I doubt that Goku has just SSJ3 level. That is just something people fantasize about using some random comments about Boo and stuff in the show they like as if it is the only possibility. I think Goku is just as ridiculously powerful in GT as characters were displayed in the Zamasu saga for example. Super powerful to an extent not to be imagined. There is hardly any consistency to properly say something.

As said, we have no idea what Boo he was talking about (a comment that might even be taken way too seriously by fans, it is really one single thing) and to be honest, the battle against Rildo did not last long anyway. Just because some of the fans are fair weather fan it doesn't mean all of us are. Plenty of people here have kept supporting Gohan even if he did very little in the first 80 episodes of Super. No need to generalize. Anything that reaches the type of popularity that Gohan had back then, be it sports teams, or other characters from various shows have bandwagon fans.

Exactly. The main character or strongest is always going to have some band wagon fans, but doesn't mean they all are.

If Gohan loses once, his fanbase will riot. Even if its too a powerful foe.

Sounds like Vegeta's fanbase. Excited for these new rivals. Given that they chose to show these three, it's possible they'll play a bigger role in the saga than others.

Some vegeta fans riot over his L's even though he and Goku are treated the best by far. People need to realize that a large portion of this fanbase is quite young, of course there will be people raging at this type of stuff. If something like that happens, then you can bet your ass there will also be a ton of Gohan fans satisfied with the outcome also.

Just because he's a villain, doesnt absolve him of cheating when he does, thats not how it works.
Oh right, I tend to go with Toriyama's script of the movie rather than Supers. Either we were watching 2 different things since Goku definitely did more than 3hits in the whole fight.

Does anyone else feel like Toyotaro and Toei will take over once Toriyama steps down? Seems like Toyotaro is inserting more ideas more and more each arc. Like his character designs.
