Not sure where to put this, but FUNimation has hopped onboard to be one of Gaiaonline's sponsors. The result is nothing big: adds for FUNimation anime here and there, etc. However, an interesting feature of Gaia's is to have a system of Quests in which the prize is an item based on the task of the quest.
However, sponsor-run quests usually involve a prize based on whatever is being sponsored. When The Last Mimzy hit theatres, users could do a stupid quest and get a Mimzy plush doll to attach to their avatars.
-Now FUNimation is promoting Tsubasa on Gaia, so a Tsubasa-related quest can be done. The prize is a hat that look likes Mokona, some puffball mascot of the series.
Do you think they might promote the DBZ boxsets in the future? I hope so: I'm a Gaiadork and would love a DB or Dragon Radar.

Oh! I do hope so! But I doubt it. Gaia would probably view DB as "old news" and I know many Gaia members already dislike DB anyway.

The quest is a bitch, but repeatable. Hint hint, wink wink, rape the future market.
What? I was just saying that Jersey's explanation is why I only think it would work with future boxsets. Maybe to promote a future video game?

Yes, I was already planning that. >>
A video game I could see as a much more realistic possibility. As I often see people who aren't fans of the anime or past fans talk about and play them.

Ech Gaia, where the preteen girls go to speak broken Japaneese and type l33t speak and where the preteen boys go to pretend to be preteen girls. It doesn't surprise me though Funi likes to whore itself out.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Oh ma word! You sure showed me with your eloquent and wise words! I shall repent! I say, repent!
Why don't you go back to your "Hooked on Phonics Colouring Book" now there little "Glory Rory".
Or is it that we're bitter because we can't participate in this one, not living in North America and all? XP
