We don't see his day to day life. Maybe there's a reason Gohan wanted his dad to watch. To show that he's been starting his training back up and wants feedback to better himself.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

U7 MVP will be Goku. Followed by Vegeta. Gohan will be thrid followed by the Andriods and Piccolo, then Krillin Roshi and Tien will be lowest tier. Just like the preliminary they will almost definitely reserve Goku so I actually think that the others will get more screen time in the tournament and that's why they probably focused a lot on Goku vs Alien dude in the OP.

Goku also trained his entire life, just to get passed up by his barely teenage son what's the point? Everyone has different limits.
Gohans limit may not be Gokus limit. Same for Vegeta. Just because Goku took his entire life to get to this point doesn't mean that it'll take Gohan just as long. Different learning curves.
The show will be easier to watch for you if you just see it as Gohan being a prodigy who doesn't really want to use his gift.
Well whatever floats your boat, it's blatantly obvious to me gohan dosen't have his fighting sense or his previous weaker than goku level of power back..
At the end of the day, you're going to keep complaining about a show you'll continue to watch.![]()

Universe 11 might be the final for Universe 7 so they showed the guy who Goku is facing from there as they wanted to show Goku in the opening. Toppo will probably face someone else from Universe 7.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:U7 MVP will be Goku. Followed by Vegeta. Goku will surely mess up at some point during and the others will have to save team Universe 7. Goku will probably end up fighting in the first match in the tournament.

It really is proof. Nobody said it was all with just piccolo so I don't know why he's just made the assumption. Goku and Vegeta have made plenty of gains just training by themselves. Right now just looks like it's applying your training to real battle.kinisking wrote:It's guaranteed he's been training by now.dragonballgeek wrote:how could you possibly know that Gohan isn't strong? Yeah it really came across as complaining to me. Like he thinks it's BS that Gohan, the most exceptional fighter For the Z fighters, is getting a boost from doing training. Like I stated before, Goku and Vegeta have gotten plenty of gains just training by themselves so I don't know why Piccolo coaching him makes a difference or not. He may not be the strongest, but he's very knowledgeable of battle.TekTheNinja wrote:Yeah, but I guess that could be classified as a type of complaining or something, I guess? If he indeed is as strong as SS god powered goku in SS form, when he can't access his ultimate "from" how strong you suppose he will be when he can assess all his power ..
Going ultimate will have him stonger than blue..
I don't see that being the intent of the show here

We still aren't even sure yet if Whis will be training them all Before the real tournament. But I do think if Whis is involved with training Gohan, who knows.

But this is Toei we are talking about, if the preliminaries wasnt part of Toriyamas outline, then I could see Gohan dying, remember no one expected Piccolo to die in FnF, and Gowasu just died in the manga.dragonballgeek wrote:

It can go several ways. Gohan barely wins, they draw or Goku steps in before Lavenda can give a finishing blow to give them an automatic loss. I doubt that Gohan dying from this will be the end result. Yeah there's always the possibility that they could use the Dragon Balls, but it'd just be completely unnecessary writing for him to die and be revived just to potentially die again in the tournament if U7 loses.
Gohan only died in DB so far because he was still unconscious after being freed from Super Buus body.

It's so big he should be stomping blue if he is already SSgod levels with just SS..
Ultimate is rightfully his in the first place, he should be able to get that back by his own therefore..
Ultimate Gohan would stomp hit, can you actually see that happening?

With all the inconsistencies with this show concerning power scaling? I have no idea what to expect. I still haven't gotten over Tagoma giving people trouble.

Not till he has got some assistance in training form either goku or whis, they have torn the power scaling logic to shreds but not by that much

That's what I'm hoping for. Whis to get involved. Honestly Whis should get in touch with all the fighters. There is absolutely no reason for them being unable to rise to ssj3 boo saga levels with his training.

Toei loves to create shock value(Piccolo death, Humans death in Trunks timeline).dragonballgeek wrote:

Gohan dying, getting revived, realizing he needs to regain his mystic form and wanting to reach SSJB level would be 100% logical tbh.
And also it would motivate Goku to beat the hell out of Bergamo in base, humillating him to make him realize how weak his Universe is.

We don't know how long it is until the tournament starts. If it is a decent amount of time than there is no excuse for Whis not to train all 10. All of them training in the same episodes will probably be better than anything we have got so far in Super.kinisking wrote:Honestly Whis should get in touch with all the fighters. Probably. Having Goku for the later fights and the others including Vegeta for the earlier ones (depending on how the fights are structured and formatted) would be a decent strategy. Gives a SSB tier (Vegeta) the opportunity to fight while giving the other non-Goku/Vegeta fighters some much needed love. Save Goku for the later fights as he's the ace in the hole. I could totally see this happen. Though even if it doesn't, I'll bet Goku will fight the main opponent regardless if he wins or loses. He'll probably have to save U7 at some point in this tournament.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:U7 MVP will be Goku. Followed by Vegeta.
