Really? I don't recall that. Could you provide proof. Also we don't know how impressive of an opponent Toppo will be yet.
Impressive to me isn't losing your merged power halfway through a critical battle.

We're not talking about if the character themselves will be badass or about what we know outside of the scene, we're talking about the scene itself. The scene itself is a guy blocking an attack, which in itself isn't badass. If he did it in a unique manner or it was from a far more powerful opponent, it'd have some sort of cool factor to it.

Yeah, Beerus another god of destruction. Kinda expected since Toppo was scouted to be one, not Vegetto. Goku struggled here and seems more like an ass-pull.
Let's also weigh in the fact Beerus was holding back his true power.

You don't get it. Toppo smashed Basil's attack. Basil is a weakling. He's Cell-level at best. What Toppo did isn't impressive. By contrast, Goku smashed a blast from someone MUCH stronger than him and Vegetto smashed a blast from someone MUCH stronger than Basil. It's not Toppo who isn't impressive, we all know he's going to be strong, it's the fact that he showcased himself to be above such a weakling that makes the scene worthless.

No. You don't get it. Again, this was NEVER about strength or powerscaling lol. You've blown this way out of context. I didn't personally feel Vegetto negating Zamasu's blast was badass or even memorable. Infact, I didn't even remember it. Do you see where I'm going with this?

I don't care if the blast was from Mr Popo or Whis. I like scenes where a mysterious character does something obscure that foreshadows to his true strength. Another example of a mysterious character foreshadowing was when Hit caught a piece of broken glass as Vegeta destroyed the dome. Miniscule, but badass.

The fact that somebody cut this into a video means they also found it badass. Which is what matters. If you don't feel like it was, all good - have a good day sir

I'm personally thinking Hit :/

I can see his universe going up against U11 to help gauge how strong they are. And since we know Hit is a really tough character, I can see them making an example out of him. I personally don't like the thought of that happening, but who knows.

I'm hoping Vegeta actually wins his fight if he ends up taking on Toppo. If they decide to do a 3 vs 3, then I'm hoping it's Vegeta who gets the win and not Gohan or something. Assuming U6 wins.

If he were to block a full power attack from like a Beerus tier character with low to mid difficulty, then it'd be a much more impressive feat. He just blocked an attack from a character that isn't worth shit compared to recent characters of Super and then giving off a Zamasu-esque speech about how disrespectful he is to the gods. Nothing really impressive as it's something that Goku or other characters could've done. Though I am looking forward to seeing more of this Toppo character and why he's cloaked.
