It's absolutely necessary for goku to correctly access this situation and maturely make a decision, any half assesery with this will result in absolute disaster..

I am more shocked than freaked out, this wasn't the direction I hoped this franchise to go..
We know what the twist will be, the very name of this arc is universe survival arc..
Now all that's left is for goku to maturely Handel this, which I am not very sure on looking at super's history..

I don't see this story playing out without Goku realizing how selfish he is, be it after his win against Universe 9 or later in the arc.

So goku has a possibility to willingly fight an opponent he could have the chance of facing again by knowingly endangering the universe which he dosen't even know the super Dragonballs can fix or not..
Great, thats exactly what was not supposed to happen..

This would be easier to digest if goku throwing this match would result in omni king not pleased and uni 7 being destroyed
